RJ HAMPSHIRE CONTINUERÀ CON ROCKSTAR ENERGY HUSQVARNA FACTORY RACING PER I PROSSIMI DUE ANNI

CONTRATTO PROLUNGATO PER LE STAGIONI DEL CAMPIONATO DEL MONDO SUPERMOTOCROSS 2024 E 2025

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing e RJ Hampshire continueranno insieme per le prossime due stagioni del SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX), comprese le serie AMA Supercross e Pro Motocross 2024 e 2025.

Hampshire ha firmato per rimanere a bordo dell’Husqvarna FC 250 per tutta la durata di quest’ultima estensione del contratto. Il 27enne si è unito per la prima volta a Rockstar Energy Husqvarna nel 2020, impressionando fino ad oggi all’interno del programma ottenendo tre vittorie complessive Pro Motocross 250MX, una vittoria al Main Event 250SX e più podi in entrambi i campionati.

Nonostante abbia dovuto affrontare vari problemi fisici nei round iniziali della 250SX West di questa stagione, Hampshire detiene la seconda posizione in classifica mentre cerca di completare i round rimanenti nel miglior modo possibile. È anche passato alla FC 450 al Daytona Supercross, vincendo la sua Heat Race al debutto e finendo ottavo nel Main Event.

“Non potrei essere più felice di aver firmato con Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing per altri due anni”, ha commentato Hampshire. “È davvero una benedizione avere un team che crede in me tanto quanto io credo in me stesso. Abbiamo continuato a fare progressi anno dopo anno e ci sforziamo tutti di essere il meglio che possiamo essere. Non vedo l’ora di mettere l’Husqvarna FC 250 sul gradino più alto per gli anni a venire.”

Il manager del team Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing, Nathan Ramsey, è entusiasta di dare il bentornato ad Hampshire per il 2024 e il 2025, con la coppia che punta fermamente a lottare per i campionati della serie SMX in questa stagione in corso e oltre.

“Avere RJ firmato per guidare la FC 250 per altri due anni con il team Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing è una grande vittoria per tutti noi”, ha spiegato Ramsey. “RJ è un vero professionista sia in pista che fuori, e il fatto che abbia il cuore di un guerriero è motivante per ogni persona del nostro team. Dopo aver vinto Gara 2 ed essere arrivato secondo assoluto nella Glendale Triple Crown due settimane fa, Hampshire e Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing continueranno la loro campagna Supercross con il 250SX East/West Showdown questo sabato 22 aprile a East Rutherford, New Jersey .

CONTRACT EXTENDED FOR 2024 AND 2025 SUPERMOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SEASONS

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing and RJ Hampshire will continue together for the next two seasons of the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX), inclusive of the 2024 and 2025 AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross series.
 
Hampshire has signed to remain onboard the Husqvarna FC 250 for the duration of this latest contract extension. The 27-year-old first joined Rockstar Energy Husqvarna in 2020, impressing to date within the program to score three Pro Motocross 250MX overall wins, a 250SX Main Event victory, and multiple podium finishes across both championships.

Despite battling various physical setbacks in the opening rounds of 250SX West this season, Hampshire holds second position in the standings as he looks to complete the remaining rounds in the best possible way. He also stepped up to the FC 450 at the Daytona Supercross, winning his Heat race on debut and finishing eighth in the Main Event.

“I couldn’t be happier to be signed with Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing for another two years,” commented Hampshire. “It’s truly a blessing to have a team that believes in me as much as I believe in myself. We’ve continued to make progress year after year and we all strive to be the best we can be. I look forward to getting the Husqvarna FC 250 back on the top step for years to come.”

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team Manager, Nathan Ramsey, is excited to welcome Hampshire back through 2024 and 2025, with the pair firmly setting their sights on challenging for championships across the SMX series in this current season and beyond.

After winning Race 2 and finishing runner-up overall in the Glendale Triple Crown two weeks ago, Hampshire and Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing will continue their Supercross campaign with the 250SX East/West Showdown this Saturday, April 22, in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
