Febvre to make his debut at Hawkstone!

Il Salop Motor Club è al settimo cielo per annunciare che l’ex campione del mondo Romain Febvre farà il suo debutto all’ASHBROOK Hawkstone International il 26 febbraio 2023 con il Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP.

Ci sono voluti molti mesi per risolverlo e non vediamo l’ora di vederlo correre sulla pista storica insieme a artisti del calibro di Jeffrey Herlings, Shaun Simpson, Brent Van Doninck, Harri Kullas, Glenn Coldenhoff, Adam Sterry e molti altri nella MX1.

Insieme a loro in MX2 ci saranno piloti come Kay Karssemakers, Dylan Walsh, Jake Millward, Isak Gifting e molti altri.

Siamo entusiasti di vedere Febvre correre nel Regno Unito a Hawkstone Park e siamo sicuri che sarà estremamente divertente per la grande folla attesa. I biglietti costano £ 40 al cancello per gli adulti, £ 5 per i bambini dai 5 ai 15 anni, il campeggio costa £ 40 a piazzola solo per il sabato sera. (solo contanti al gate, ci saranno sportelli bancomat accanto alle biglietterie quindi ricordarsi di una carta fisica) – i prezzi includono l’accesso gratuito al paddock dei piloti, il parcheggio gratuito e un programma.

Romain Febvre – “Questa sarà la prima volta che vengo a Hawkstone. Quando mi è stato chiesto se mi sarebbe piaciuto partecipare all’evento da Guy del Salop Motor Club, sono stato felice di accettare l’invito. Ho guardato parte del live streaming della gara nel 2022, quindi ho una buona idea di cosa aspettarmi.
Il mio team manager Antti Pyrhonen è stato a Hawkstone molte volte e ha detto che è un bell’evento e sarà un buon allenamento per me e per il Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP. Non vedo l’ora di correre su nuove piste e la gente mi dice che Hawkstone è uno dei migliori, inoltre i fan britannici sono sempre molto entusiasti. Spero di vedervi lì!”

I ringraziamenti vanno al rappresentante del nostro club Guy Evans, che vive in Belgio, per essersi incontrato con Romain per discutere della sua partecipazione all’evento. L’International sta davvero prendendo forma ora e l’elenco degli iscritti migliora di settimana in settimana. Spero che tutti saranno entusiasti di vedere Romain affrontare Hawkstone e vedere come si comporta sul circuito sabbioso.

Salop Motor Club are over the moon to announce that former World Champion Romain Febvre will make his debut appearance at the ASHBROOK Hawkstone International on the 26th February 2023 with the Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP.
 
This has taken many months to sort out and we cannot wait to see him race at the historic track alongside the likes of Jeffrey Herlings, Shaun Simpson, Brent Van Doninck, Harri Kullas, Glenn Coldenhoff, Adam Sterry and many more in MX1.
 
Joining them in MX2 will be riders such as Kay Karssemakers, Dylan Walsh, Jake Millward, Isak Gifting and plenty of others.
 
We are excited to see Febvre racing in the UK at Hawkstone Park and we are sure it will be extremely entertaining for the large crowd expected. Tickets are £40 on the gate for adults, £5 kids 5 – 15, camping is £40 per pitch for Saturday evening only. (cash on the gate only, there will be cash machines next to the ticket booths so please remember a physical card) – prices includes free access to the riders paddock, free parking and a programme.
 
Romain Febvre – “This will be the first time I have been to Hawkstone. When I was asked if I would like to ride at the event by Guy from the Salop Motor Club I was happy to accept the invitation. I watched some of the livestream from the race in 2022 so I have a good idea of what to expect.
 
My team manager Antti Pyrhonen has been to Hawkstone many times and has said what a good event it is and it will be a good workout for me and the Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP. I always look forward to racing at new tracks and people tell me that Hawkstone is one of the best, plus the British fans are always really enthusiastic. I hope to see you there!”
 
Gary Ford – SMC – “We are delighted to announce that former World Champion Romain Febvre will be coming to Hawkstone for the first time. Thanks must go to our club representative Guy Evans who lives in Belgium for meeting up with Romain to discuss his participation in the event. The International is really taking shape now and the entry list is getting better every week. Hopefully everyone will be excited to see Romain tackle Hawkstone and to see how he performs on the sandy circuit.”
