Yamaha conferma una formazione giovane e forte per i campionati EMX250 ed EMX125 2023
Yamaha Motor Europe è lieta di confermare che il team Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250 schiererà una forte formazione di tre piloti nel 2023, mentre il team MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 schiererà una nuovissima e potente formazione a due piloti per la Campagna del campionato EMX125 2023. Yamaha e Hutten Metaal ha mantenuto lo sfidante del titolo EMX250 Andrea Bonacorsi per la terza stagione e sono pronti ad accogliere Ivano van Erp e Karlis Reisulis mentre scalano la piramide Yamaha Racing. Allo stesso tempo, Yamaha è entusiasta di accogliere Janis Reisulis e Julius Mikula nel team ufficiale MJC Yamaha EMX125. Tutti e cinque i piloti faranno campagna con le versioni equipaggiate con GYTR della YZ250F e della YZ125 nei rispettivi campionati.
Impressionante fin dall’inizio, Bonacorsi è stato una forza da non sottovalutare durante le sue prime due stagioni con la Yamaha nella classe altamente competitiva EMX250. Il giovane italiano ha festeggiato due vittorie in gara e tre podi nella sua stagione da rookie e ha aggiunto a quello un’altra vittoria in gara e quattro pezzi d’argento sul podio, di cui una è stata una prima vittoria assoluta, nel 2022. Entrando nella sua terza stagione consecutiva nella Classe MX2-feeder, l’obiettivo per ‘Bona’ è chiaro; sta andando per il titolo.
In qualità di due volte Campione del Mondo Junior, dopo aver conquistato il titolo mondiale della 65cc nel 2017 e la corona della 125cc quest’anno, il prodigio olandese Van Erp attende con impazienza la sua stagione di debutto in EMX250 con il team olandese Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250. Il talento diciassettenne si unisce alla squadra ufficiale EMX250 di Yamaha dopo cinque anni con Yamaha e tre anni brillanti con il team MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 nel campionato EMX125, in cui ha celebrato sette straordinarie vittorie in gara e sei vittorie complessive a bordo di un kit GYTR YZ125.
Come Van Erp, anche K.Reisulis risalirà la Yamaha Racing Pyramid dopo due anni incredibili con il team MJC Yamaha Official EMX125. Nel 2021, il lettone si è ripreso da un costoso infortunio pre-stagionale concludendo il suo primo mandato completo in EMX125 con due podi. Il sedicenne alla fine ha dimostrato il suo vero potenziale, iniziando quest’anno in forma e in salute per finire secondo nel campionato EMX125 dopo una brillante vittoria in gara e cinque podi.
Tutto pronto per un’entusiasmante campagna EMX125, il team ufficiale MJC Yamaha EMX125 è entusiasta di accogliere due dei giovani più veloci d’Europa, J.Reisulis e Mikula. J.Reisulis, il fratello minore di K.Reisulis, si è già affermato come un nome per il futuro. Il talentuoso giovane lettone ha fatto il suo debutto in EMX125 nel 2022 e, alla tenera età di 13 anni, è salito sul podio al primo round. Ha poi continuato la sua forma sbalorditiva per tutto l’anno e ha concluso la stagione al terzo posto assoluto con cinque podi, tra cui una straordinaria vittoria a Lommel, in Belgio.
Mikula ha goduto di un solido secondo mandato all’interno del campionato EMX125 nel 2022, dimostrando il suo potenziale con un podio a Lommel, in Belgio, e altri due primi cinque piazzamenti durante la stagione.

Yamaha Confirms Strong Young Line-Up for 2023 EMX250 & EMX125 Championships
Yamaha Motor Europe is pleased to confirm the Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250 team will field a strong three-rider line-up in 2023, while the MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 team will field an all-new and potent two-rider line-up for its 2023 EMX125 Championship campaign. Yamaha and Hutten Metaal have retained EMX250 title challenger Andrea Bonacorsi for a third season and are poised to welcome Ivano van Erp and Karlis Reisulis as they step up the Yamaha Racing pyramid. At the same time, Yamaha is excited to welcome Janis Reisulis and Julius Mikula to the MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 team. All five riders will campaign GYTR-kitted versions of the YZ250F and YZ125 in their respective championships.
Impressive right from the get-go, Bonacorsi has been a force to be reckoned with during his first two seasons with Yamaha inside the highly competitive EMX250 class. The young Italian celebrated two race wins and three podium finishes in his rookie season and added to that with another race win and four pieces of podium silverware, of which one was a maiden overall victory, in 2022. Going into his third consecutive season in the MX2-feeder class, the goal for ‘Bona’ is clear; he is going for the title.
As a two-time Junior World Champion, having claimed the 65cc World Championship title in 2017 and the 125cc crown this year, Dutch prodigy Van Erp is looking forward to his debut season in EMX250 with the Dutch-based Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250 team. The 17-year-old talent joins Yamaha’s Official EMX250 squad after five years with Yamaha and three brilliant years with the MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 team in the EMX125 Championship, in which he celebrated seven stunning race wins and six overall victories aboard a GYTR-kitted YZ125.
Like Van Erp, K.Reisulis will also move up the Yamaha Racing Pyramid after two incredible years with the MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 team. In 2021, the Latvian bounced back from a costly pre-season injury to end his first full EMX125 term with two podium finishes. The 16-year-old eventually proved his true potential, starting this year fit and healthy to finish as the EMX125 Championship runner-up after a brilliant race win and five podium finishes.
All set for an exciting EMX125 campaign, the MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 team is thrilled to welcome two of Europe’s quickest youngsters, J.Reisulis and Mikula. J.Reisulis, the younger brother of K.Reisulis, has already established himself as a name for the future. The phenomenally talented young Latvian made his EMX125 debut in 2022 and, at the tender age of 13, finished on the podium at round one. He then continued his stunning form throughout the year and ended the season third overall with five podium finishes, which includes a stunning round win in Lommel, Belgium.
Mikula enjoyed a solid second term inside the EMX125 Championship in 2022, proving his potential with a podium finish in Lommel, Belgium, and a further two top-five finishes during the season.
