2023 FIM Junior Motocross World Championship Heads to Romania

AFYONKARAHISAR (Turkiye) settembre 2022 – Dopo il successo del recente Campionato Mondiale FIM Junior Motocross , Infront Moto Racing è lieta di confermare che il più grande evento junior della stagione si svolgerà in Romania nel 2023.

Dopo le gare di qualificazione al Bitci MXGP di Turkiye, si è svolta una speciale conferenza stampa presso il media center del circuito di Afyon dove il Presidente della FIM Jorge Viegas, la Manager del Campionato Mondiale FIM Junior Motocross Patricia Maskarova insieme agli Organizzatori dell’evento Ciprian Popescu e Adrian Raduta hanno condiviso la loro eccitazione per l’evento.

Jorge Viegas, Presidente FIM: “Questo è uno dei nostri principali eventi di motocross perché ovviamente scommettiamo davvero sui giovani piloti. Sono molto felice che un paese come la Romania consideri questo un grande evento. Per un evento come questo serve un’organizzazione molto forte, ma so che la Federazione Rumena farà un ottimo lavoro”.

Patricia Maskarova, Manager del Campionato del Mondo FIM Junior Motocross: “Abbiamo appena avuto un grande successo nel Campionato del Mondo FIM Junior Motocross in Finlandia lo scorso fine settimana, con 26 paesi diversi e più di 180 piloti. E, naturalmente, siamo molto felici di aver firmato con gli organizzatori rumeni per il prossimo anno poiché insieme faremo del nostro meglio per assicurarci che questo sia un altro grande evento per i giovani più veloci del mondo!”.

Ciprian Popescu e Adrian Raduta hanno condiviso l’importanza del Campionato Mondiale FIM Junior che si svolge in Romania e hanno dichiarato: “Siamo molto orgogliosi di essere qui perché è un sogno che si avvera. Lavoriamo da molti anni a questo progetto. Nel 2003 abbiamo iniziato la collaborazione con il Campionato del Mondo MX3” hanno spiegato, aggiungendo “abbiamo una squadra di 40 ragazzi e una scuola con oltre 180 ragazzi che corrono lì, quindi il nostro desiderio di sviluppare il motocross nel nostro Paese, soprattutto nei Balcani, è veramente grande. Questa è una delle cose che ci motiva ad organizzare un evento così grande in Romania e siamo sicuri che il risultato sarà molto buono”.

Il TCS Racing Park sarà la sede della prestigiosa gara juniores, costruita oltre 20 anni fa dalla passione della famiglia Radutä e di Ciprian Popescu. La pista si trova a 50 km a nord di Bucarest, la capitale della Romania ed è diventata un punto centrale del campionato rumeno di motocross. Ha ospitato diversi eventi del campionato europeo, tra cui il campionato mondiale di motocross Sidecar e il campionato mondiale di motocross MX3 nel 2003.

La pista stessa è un tracciato duro che sarà l’ambiente perfetto per ospitare i giovani più veloci del mondo.

2023 FIM Junior Motocross World Championship Heads to Romania

AFYONKARAHISAR (Turkiye) 3 September 2022 – Following the success of the recent FIM Junior Motocross World ChampionshipInfront Moto Racing is delighted to confirm that the biggest junior event of the season will head to Romania in 2023.

Following the qualifying races at the Bitci MXGP of Turkiye, a special press conference took place in the media centre at the Afyon circuit where the FIM President Jorge Viegas, FIM Junior Motocross World Championship Manager Patricia Maskarova along with the Organisers of the event Ciprian Popescu and Adrian Raduta shared their excitement about the event.  

Jorge Viegas, FIM President: “This is one of our major motocross events as of course we are really betting in the young riders. I’m very happy that a country like Romania thinks this is a great event. For an event like this, we need a very strong organisation, but I know the Romanian Federation is going to do a great job”.

FIM Junior Motocross World Championship Manager, Patricia Maskarova: “We just had a very successful FIM Junior Motocross World Championship in Finland last weekend, with 26 different countries and more than 180 riders. And of course, we are very glad to have signed with the Romanian organisers for next year as together we will do our best to make sure that this will be another great event for the fastest youngsters in the world!”.

Ciprian Popescu and Adrian Raduta shared the importance of the FIM Junior World Championship taking place in Romania and said “We’re very proud to be here as it’s a dream come true. We have been working for many years on this project. In 2003 we started the collaboration with the MX3 World Championship” they explained, adding “we have a team of 40 kids and a school with over 180 kids riding there, so our desire to develop motocross in our country, especially in the Balkans, is really big. This is one of the things that motivates us to organise such a big event in Romania and we are sure the outcome will be very good”.

TCS Racing Park will be the venue to host the prestigious junior race, which was built over 20 years ago due to the passion the Radutä family and Ciprian Popescu. The track is situated 50 km north of Bucharest, the capital city of Romania and has become a central point of the Romanian Motocross Championship. It has hosted different European Championship events, including the Sidecar Motocross World Championship and MX3 Motocross World Championship in 2003.

The track itself is a hardpack track which will be the perfect setting to host the fastest youngsters in the world.
