LE SESSIONI DI QUALIFICAZIONE CONCLUDONO IL GIORNO DI APERTURA DEL CAMPIONATO MONDIALE DI MOTOCROSS FIM JUNIOR 2022
VANTAA (Finlandia) 27 agosto 2022 – La prima giornata di gare si è conclusa con le sessioni di qualificazione a Vantaa, in Finlandia, per il Campionato Mondiale FIM Junior Motocross 2022.
Oggi è stata una giornata cruciale per i 180 piloti che speravano di essere tra i 40 piloti delle categorie 125cc, 85cc e 65cc per schierarsi per le gare di domani e avere la possibilità di lottare per le posizioni da medaglia.
Ogni classe è stata divisa in due gironi, dove i primi 18 di ogni girone si sono qualificati e il resto ha preso parte alla gara dell’ultima chance a fine giornata. Un totale di 4 corridori avanzano alle gare principali dall’ultima batteria casuale, insieme ad altri 2 corridori di riserva.
Nella sessione di qualifiche della 125, Janis Martins Reisulis è stato in testa alla classifica del Gruppo A con un tempo di 1:42.668 rispetto a Ferruccio Zanchi di 1:43.048 e al pilota locale Kasimir Hindersson di 1:43.875 .
Intanto, nel Gruppo B, il pilota più veloce è stato Francisco Garcia con un tempo di 1:40.510 , rispetto a 1:41.995 di Karlis Alberts Reisulis e dell’EMX125 Cas Valk che era terzo con un tempo di 1:43.174 .
A qualificarsi per domani tramite l’ultima chance race sono stati Mads Fredsoe, Uldis Freibergs, Jakob Frandsen e Ofir Casey Tzemach mentre Maximilian Ernecker e Collin Allen sono i due piloti di riserva.

Nella classe 85cc, Gyan Deonsen è stato il pilota più veloce del Gruppo A con un impressionante tempo di 1:47.962 rispetto a 1:50.062 di Josh Vail e 1:50.101 di Rene Nyman . Nel gruppo B, Dani Heitink è stato il più veloce con il tempo di 1:49.607 mentre secondo e terzo Vitezslav Marek (1:49.619) ed Erik Frisagärd (1:50.454).
Nella gara dell’ultima chance, i corridori che sono passati alla finale di domani sono stati Carson Wood, Casper Lindmark, Ricards Alens Galcins e Juan Uzaguirre . Mentre i due corridori di riserva saranno Hugo Bergqvist e Jacob Blcoh.

Nel frattempo nella classe 65cc, il pilota locale Viktor Leppälä è stato il più veloce del gruppo A e ha stabilito un tempo sul giro di 1:56.489 . Secondo e terzo Lucas Leok (1:56.881) e Mortiz Ernecker (2:01.227). Nel gruppo B il pilota più veloce è stato Ricardo Bauer , che ha fatto segnare il tempo di 1:58.646 mentre Andrea Uccellini si è piazzato secondo con il suo giro di 2:00.338 e il pilota di casa Eeka Laaksonen è stato terzo con il suo tempo di 2:00.464.
A passare alle gare di domani attraverso l’ultima chance è stato Alex Novak che è stato il vincitore davanti a Seth Thomas, Trent Valsecchi e Ollie Birkitt. I corridori di riserva sono Leo Wilson e Louis Morette.

Qualifying Sessions Conclude Opening Day of 2022 FIM Junior Motocross World Championship
VANTAA (Finland) 27 August 2022 – The first day of racing has concluded with the qualifying sessions in Vantaa, Finland for the 2022 FIM Junior Motocross World Championship.
Today was a crucial day for the 180 riders that hoped to be among the 40 riders in the 125cc, 85cc and 65cc categories to line up for tomorrow’s races and have a chance to fight for the medal-scoring positions.
Each class was divided into two groups, where the top 18 from each group qualified and the rest took part in the last chance race at the end of the day. A total of 4 riders progress through to the main races from the last chance heat, along with an additional 2 reserve riders.
In the 125cc qualifying session, Janis Martins Reisulis topped the charts in the Group A session with a lap time of 1:42.668 compared to Ferruccio Zanchi’s 1:43.048 lap time and local rider Kasimir Hindersson’s lap of 1:43.875.
Meanwhile, in Group B, the fastest rider was Francisco Garcia with a 1:40.510 time, compared to 1:41.995 of Karlis Alberts Reisulis and the EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing Champion Cas Valk who was third with a 1:43.174 time.
Qualifying for tomorrow via the last chance race were Mads Fredsoe, Uldis Freibergs, Jakob Frandsen and Ofir Casey Tzemach while Maximilian Ernecker and Collin Allen are the two reserve riders.

In the 85cc class, Gyan Deonsen was the fastest rider in Group A with an impressive lap time of 1:47.962 compared to Josh Vail’s 1:50.062 and Rene Nyman’s 1:50.101 lap times. In group B, Dani Heitink was the fastest and set a lap time of 1:49.607 while second and third were Vitezslav Marek (1:49.619) and Erik Frisagärd (1:50.454).
In the last chance race, the riders who progressed into the final for tomorrow were Carson Wood, Casper Lindmark, Ricards Alens Galcins and Juan Uzaguirre. While the two reserve riders will be Hugo Bergqvist and Jacob Blcoh.

Meanwhile in the 65cc class, local rider, Viktor Leppälä was the fastest in group A and set a lap time of 1:56.489. Second and third were Lucas Leok (1:56.881) and Mortiz Ernecker (2:01.227). In group B, the fastest rider was Ricardo Bauer, as he set a time of 1:58.646 while Andrea Uccellini placed second with his lap of 2:00.338 and home rider Eeka Laaksonen was third with his time of 2:00.464.
Progressing to the races tomorrow through the last chance race was Alex Novak who was the winner ahead of Seth Thomas, Trent Valsecchi and Ollie Birkitt. The reserve riders are Leo Wilson and Louis Morette.

With the qualifying action concluded, it is time to look forward to tomorrow’s races as we gear up to crown the 2022 125cc and 85cc Junior World Champions and Junior World Cup winner in the 65cc category.
