Rivelato il team Germany per Monster Energy FIM MXoN
Il Team Germany per il Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations 2022 è stato deciso: Max Nagl (MXGP), Simon Längenfelder (MX2) e Tom Koch (Open) rappresenteranno il team tedesco a Red Bud, USA, a fine settembre.
Marcel Dornhöfer e Karsten Schneider sono i team manager nominati dal DMSB e assumono il ruolo di capi squadra all’interno di un gruppo organizzativo composto da più persone. Entrambi condivideranno i compiti sportivi e amministrativi, che negli ultimi anni sono diventati sempre più diversi ed estesi.
Il Motocross delle Nazioni, in breve MXoN, è la gara MX più prestigiosa dell’anno. Il Campionato del Mondo a squadre di quest’anno si svolgerà il 24 e 25 settembre sul leggendario circuito americano “Red Bud”, situato vicino a Buchanan, nello stato del Michigan. Dopo il 2018, l’evento torna al luogo associato a salti spettacolari e grande atmosfera intorno alla pista e alla formazione della squadra. Max Nagl (MXGP, Krettek-Haas-Racing-Team), Simon Längenfelder (MX2, Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing) e Tom Koch (Open, Kosak Racing Team) gareggeranno nel Monster Energy FIM MXoN Team Germany.
I capi del team Dornhöfer e Schneider ringraziano tutti i piloti, i partner e gli sponsor, senza i quali non sarebbe stato possibile prendere parte al Monster Energy FIM Motocross delle Nazioni. “Per realizzare un’apparizione del genere, non serve solo un budget adeguato, ma anche esperienza e manodopera. Senza il DMSB, l’ADAC e i nostri sponsor non potremmo gestire questo evento, quindi il nostro grande ringraziamento va a tutti i sostenitori del Team tedesco.”
I tedeschi hanno deciso di selezionare il pilota Kosak KTM, Tom Koch. Jacobi è triste per non essere stato scelto, ma sostiene la squadra al 100% e rimarrà amico intimo di Koch.
“Tuttavia, ho anche una triste notizia, venerdì pomeriggio sono stato informato che non sarei stato necessario per il mio paese al MX of Nations, i giochi olimpici del nostro sport. Da un punto di vista puramente atletico, non mi sembrava di entrare tra i primi tre. Questo non ha nulla a che fare finanziariamente, come qualcuno potrebbe pensare, lo vedo come uno sport, ma continuo a pensare che sia un peccato non essere entrato tra i primi 3 perché l’anno scorso ho avuto una vertebra rotta e mi fa molto male per il nostro paese, Motocross Germania e tutti gli sponsor. La mia squadra era pronta, avevamo organizzato tutto, ma sfortunatamente… beh, comunque, sono felice per il mio amico Tom Koch che ha la possibilità di correre indipendentemente dalle nostre prestazioni, rimarremo amici nonostante tali influenze di terze parti, Tom non preoccuparti. Auguro ai tre ragazzi solo il meglio, spero che tutti diate il 100% come avrei dato io”, ha dichiarato Jacobi sui social.

Monster Energy FIM MXoN Team Germany Selection Revealed
Team Germany for the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations 2022 has been decided: Max Nagl (MXGP), Simon Längenfelder (MX2) and Tom Koch (Open) will represent the German team on Red Bud, USA at the end of September.
Marcel Dornhöfer and Karsten Schneider are the team managers nominated by the DMSB and take on the role of team bosses within a multi-person organizational group. Both will share the sporting and administrative tasks, which have become more and more diverse and extensive in recent years.
The Motocross of Nations, MXoN for short, is the most prestigious MX race of the year. This year’s World Team Championship will take place on September 24th and 25th at the legendary American track “Red Bud”, located near Buchanan in the state of Michigan. After 2018, the event returns to the place associated with spectacular jumps and great atmosphere around the track and the team squad is set. Max Nagl (MXGP, Krettek-Haas-Racing-Team), Simon Längenfelder (MX2, Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing) and Tom Koch (Open, Kosak Racing Team) will compete in the Monster Energy FIM MXoN Team Germany.
The team bosses Dornhöfer and Schneider would like to thank all the riders, partners and sponsors, without whom it would not have been possible to take part in the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations. “In order to realize such an appearance, you not only need a suitable budget, but also experience and manpower. Without the DMSB, ADAC and our sponsors we could not handle this event, so our big thanks go to all the supporters of the German team.”
The German’s instead decided to select Kosak KTM rider, Tom Koch. Jacobi is sad not to be picked but supports the team 100% and will remain close friends with Koch.
“Nevertheless, I also have sad news, Friday afternoon I was informed that I would not be needed for my country at the MX of Nations, the Olympic games of our sport. From a purely athletic point of view, I didn’t seem to make it into the top three. This has nothing to do financially, as some might think, I see it as a sport, but I still think it’s a shame that I didn’t make it into the top 3 because I had a broken vertebra last year and it hurts a lot for our country, Motocross Germany and all sponsors. My team was ready, we had organized everything, but unfortunately…well, nonetheless, I’m happy for my buddy Tom Koch that he gets the chance to ride regardless of our performance, we will remain friends despite such influences from third parties, don’t worry. I wish the three boys only the best I hope you all give 100% as I would have given”, Jacobi stated on social media.
