Jonass assente dall’MXGP delle Fiandre

Pauls Jonass della Standing Construct Husqvarna Factory Racing salterà l’MXGP delle Fiandre, round 14 del Campionato del mondo di motocross FIM a Lommel, in Belgio, questo fine settimana a causa di una ferita non rimarginata al braccio destro.

Jonass è caduto nel primo giro di gara due al MXGP della Repubblica Ceca a Loket, dove ha subito un grave taglio al braccio destro. Dai controlli medici è emerso che il lettone è stato fortunato ad evitare danni ai nervi o ai muscoli; tuttavia, considerando la profondità della ferita, i medici hanno consigliato al “41” di evitare di mettere a rischio il taglio correndo questo fine settimana.

Successivamente, Jonass e il team hanno deciso di seguire il consiglio del medico e non parteciperanno al Gran Premio delle Fiandre.

Standing Construct Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Pauls Jonass will miss the MXGP of Flanders, round 14 of the FIM Motocross World Championship in Lommel, Belgium, this weekend due to an unhealed wound on his right arm.

Jonass fell on the opening lap of race two at the MXGP of Czech Republic in Loket, where he sustained a severe cut on his right arm. Medical checks have revealed that the Latvian was lucky to avoid any nerve or muscle damage; however, considering the depth of the wound, doctors have advised the ‘41’ to avoid putting the cut at risk by racing this weekend.

Subsequently, Jonass and the team have decided to follow medical advice and will not participate in the Flanders Grand Prix.
