Da quando il team Gebben van Venrooy Yamaha e Arminas Jasikonis hanno deciso che sarebbe stato meglio per la sua carriera prendersi una pausa dalle gare MXGP, il team è stato alla ricerca di un pilota sostitutivo.

Il team è lieto di confermare di essersi assicurato Harri Kullas come pilota di riempimento con il set estone per partecipare a eventi selezionati del Campionato del mondo MXGP con il team durante il resto della stagione. Kullas farà il suo debutto con Gebben van Venrooy Yamaha a Loket in Repubblica Ceca il 16 e 17 luglio.

Kullas ha molta familiarità con le macchine Yamaha, poiché ha corso i campionati britannici e la serie MX National UK per il team Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha in lotta per le vittorie nelle gare nazionali.

Nonostante si sia concentrato sulle corse britanniche negli ultimi anni, Kulla ha una vasta esperienza nel paddock del Gran Premio sia nel campionato mondiale MX2 che MXGP. Dopo alcuni anni senza far parte del paddock, Kullas è motivato a ottenere ottimi risultati al suo ritorno alle corse ai massimi livelli.

Harri Kullas: Sono molto grato per questa opportunità dal team Gebben Van Venrooy Yamaha. Ho seguito il team per alcuni anni e sembra fantastico, quindi sono felice di unirmi a loro. Sento che la mia guida è in una buona posizione in questo momento e coglierò questa opportunità con entrambe le mani. Sicuramente il Campionato del Mondo MXGP è una corsa molto intensa e non sarà facile ma darò il mio 100% e mi godrò ogni round. Grazie al mio attuale team British Championship Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha per essere stato così positivo nel dare il loro supporto per me per aggiungere le gare del Campionato del Mondo al mio calendario.

Gebben van Venrooy Yamaha welcome Harri Kullas to the team
Since the Gebben van Venrooy Yamaha team and ArminasJasikonis decided it would better for his career to take a break from MXGP racing, the team have been on the lookout for a replacement rider.

The team are pleased to confirm they have secured HarriKullas as a fill in rider with the Estonian set to contest selected MXGP World Championship events with the team during the rest of the season. Kullas will make his Gebben van Venrooy Yamaha debut at Loket in Czech Republic on the 16thand 17th of July.

Kullas is very familiar with Yamaha machinery, as he has been racing the British Championships and the MX National UK series for the Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha team battling for domestic race wins.

Despite focusing on British racing the past few years, Kullashas a wealth of experience in the Grand Prix paddock in both the MX2 and MXGP World Championships. After a few years not being part of the paddock, Kullas is motivated for strong results upon his return to racing at the highest level.

Harri Kullas: I am very thankful for this opportunity from Gebben Van Venrooy Yamaha team. I have followed the team few years and it looks great so I am happy to join them. I feel my riding is in a good place right now and I will grab this opportunity with both hands. For sure, the MXGP World Championship is very intense racing and it won’t be easy but I will give my 100% and will enjoy every round. Thank you to my current British Championship Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha team for being so positive about giving their support for me to add World Championship races to my calendar.
