Thomas Kjer Olsen sulla strada della guarigione
L’atleta DIGA Procross KTM Racing Thomas Kjer Olsen è sulla strada del recupero dopo un grave incidente nella gara di qualificazione per l’MXGP della Lettonia a Kegums.
Thomas Kjer Olsen, che tra la ferita alla testa si è fratturato anche la vertebra C1 nell’incidente, che fortunatamente non si è spostata ed è stabile, è stato trasferito con successo nel suo paese adottivo, il Belgio ed è già in riabilitazione.
Al momento siamo lieti di informarvi che Thomas non dipende da nessuna attrezzatura e può mangiare, bere e camminare da solo.
I medici, tutti gli assistenti, la sua famiglia e tutto il team sono molto fiduciosi che Thomas si riprenderà completamente dalle conseguenze della caduta e potrà condurre in futuro una vita normale.
Tuttavia, la fase di recupero continuerà per diversi mesi e chiediamo la vostra comprensione di astenersi da richieste sul suo stato di salute.
Anche Thomas desidera cogliere l’occasione per ringraziare personalmente tutti per i tanti messaggi e pensieri di buona guarigione inviatigli da tutta la famiglia MX.

Thomas Kjer Olsen on the road to recovery 
Racing athlete Thomas Kjer Olsen is on the road to recovery after a serious crash in the qualifying race for the MXGP of Latvia in Kegums.
Thomas Kjer Olsen, who among the head injury also fractured his C1 vertebra in the crash, which fortunately has not shifted and is stable, has been successfully transferred to his adopted country of Belgium and is already undergoing rehabilitation there.
At the moment we are happy to inform you that Thomas is not dependent on any equipment and can eat, drink and walk on his own.
The doctors, all the carers, his family and the whole team are very confident that Thomas will fully recover from the consequences of the fall and will be able to lead a normal life in the future.
However, the recovery phase will continue for several months and we ask for your understanding to refrain from enquiries regarding his state of health.
Thomas would also like to take this opportunity to personally thank everyone for the many get-well messages and thoughts sent to him from the entire MX family.
