Jorge Prado costretto a saltare il GP d’Italia questo weekend.
Jorge Prado (team Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing), attualmente secondo nella classifica del Campionato del Mondo MXGP, non correrà il settimo round stagionale del Campionato del Mondo FIM Motocross 2022, il Gran Premio d’Italia, a seguito di una caduta occorsa in allenamento.
Jorge ha riportato una lussazione alla spalla, che è stata prontamente rimessa in posizione senza ulteriori danni, e si spera possa rientrare nel GP successivo, se il controllo programmato nei giorni precedenti il Gran Premio di Sardegna, che si correrà il 15 maggio, avrà esito positivo.
Jorge Prado: “Sono caduto in allenamento la scorsa settimana. Non è stata una caduta molto grave, ma mi sono lussato la spalla. Fortunatamente uno specialista della spalla l’ha rimessa in sede rapidamente, e ora sto lavorando per poter tornare in sella il prima possibile. Spero di essere a Riola Sardo e correre con la mia GASGAS, e mi dispiace non esserci nel GP di questo weekend… sono secondo in campionato e in lotta per il titolo, e Maggiora è una pista che mi piace!”
Il team Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing sarà rappresentato da Mattia Guadagnini e Simon Langenfelder questo fine settimana. Tutto il team augura a Jorge una pronta guarigione e non vediamo l’ora di rivederlo in azione sulla sua MC 450F.

DISLOCATED SHOULDER FORCES PRADO TO MISS ROUND SEVEN OF 2022 MXGP.
- Dislocated shoulder put back into place without any further damage.
- Prado hopeful that he’ll be able to race at the following MXGP round.
- Currently sits in second in the premier-class championship standings.
Jorge Prado sustained a dislocated shoulder in a small crash and, although his shoulder was repositioned without sustaining any further damage, a lack of strength has ruled him out of Maggiora. The injury is set to be re-evaluated in the days prior to Grand Prix of Sardegna, which will be run on May 15.
Jorge Prado: “I crashed in practice last week. It was not a very big crash, but I dislocated my shoulder. A shoulder specialist put it back in as quickly as possible and I am thankful for that. I’m working very hard right now, just to make sure that I can get back as soon as possible. Hopefully I will be at Riola Sardo, as long as everything goes well. That would be a big achievement for me! It is a pity that I cannot ride this weekend – I am second in the championship and in the fight for the title. Maggiora is a track that I like as well! I hope that I can put my GASGAS back on track in Sardegna.”
