Tomac domina a Seattle Supercross per la quinta vittoria consecutiva
Eli Tomac di Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing ha ottenuto la sua quinta vittoria consecutiva in modo dominante, guidando dall’inizio alla fine la scorsa notte al Lumen Field di Seattle, Washington. Il pilota del Colorado entra nella breve pausa con un sano vantaggio di 54 punti nel campionato Monster Energy AMA Supercross 450SX con cinque round rimanenti.
Tomac ha superato presto la classifica ma alla fine si è qualificato terzo e ha ottenuto il secondo posto nella sua gara di qualifica. Nell’evento principale, il leader della serie è partito alla grande per afferrare l’holeshot. Ha poi fatto alcuni giri veloci per costruire un comodo distacco davanti e alla fine ha preso la bandiera a scacchi con un margine di 8,6 secondi. Oltre ad ampliare il suo vantaggio in punti, la settima vittoria stagionale di Tomac lo mette in parità per il quarto posto nella lista di vittorie di tutti i tempi con 44 vittorie nella classe regina.
Dopo un fine settimana libero, il Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing torna in azione sabato 9 aprile al The Dome presso l’America’s Center di St. Louis, Missouri, per il Round 13 del Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship.

Tomac Dominates Seattle Supercross for Fifth-Consecutive Win
Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Eli Tomac scored his fifth-straight victory in dominant fashion, leading from start to finish last night at the Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington. The Colorado rider heads into the short break with a healthy 54-point lead in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross 450SX Championship with five rounds remaining.
Tomac topped the timesheets early but ultimately qualified third and took the runner-up finish in his heat race. In the main event, the series points leader got off to a flying start to grab the holeshot. He then put in some flying laps to build a comfortable gap up front and ultimately took the checkered flag by an 8.6-second margin. In addition to expanding his points lead, Tomac’s seventh win of the season puts him in a tie for fourth on the all-time win list with 44 victories in the premier class.
After a weekend off, the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing returns to action on Saturday, April 9, at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri, for Round 13 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship.

“It was another incredible day. It started off with leading free practice again, which like I said last week, sets the tone for the day. We didn’t go out and crush the heat race, but we learned from it and decided what we needed to do for the main event. Eli went out, pulled off the holeshot, and won it wire-to-wire. He put in an absolutely flawless main event, and I’m really proud of him and the team, they did a great job, and we’ve just got to keep it going.”

“It was a perfect main event and another great weekend in Seattle. I got the holeshot and put in a big sprint early in the race. The track was really good for the first half and then really tough in the second half of the race. Once Justin (Barcia) made the mistake, I had a pretty nice lead so I was just able to maintain it and try and get through the track. It was just another unbelievable weekend for us and the team. We’ve got some great momentum and love what we have going on!”
