Il campione del mondo MXGP Jeffrey Herlings del team Red Bull KTM Factory si è infortunato al piede mentre si stava allenando oggi in Spagna dopo la gara che ha vinto ieri. L’olandese ha interrotto immediatamente l’allenamento ed è andato dal medico a casa per sapere quanto sia grave l’infortunio e contiamo di avere notizie ufficiali.

Sui social la Red Bull KTM ha commentato: il campione del mondo MXGP Jeffrey Herlings cercherà un parere medico per un infortunio al piede sinistro subito durante la guida in Spagna oggi (lunedì). Il pilota della Red Bull KTM è arrivato corto su un piccolo salto e ha immediatamente interrotto la sua sessione e si è diretto a casa sua per un consulto. Maggiori informazioni saranno rilasciate a tempo debito.

Jeffrey Herlings has been putting in the laps for the 2022 MXGP World Championship and even won the opening round of the Spanish Championship at the weekend. However, today (Monday) whilst training he hurt his left foot coming up short on a jump.

The MXGP World Champion is now heading home for more medical advice – this is far from ideal with Matterley Basin taking place on the 19th and 20th of February.

“MXGP World Champion Jeffrey Herlings will seek medical advice for a left foot injury sustained while riding in Spain today (Monday). The Red Bull KTM rider arrived short on a small, standard jump and immediately stopped his session and headed for his home for consultation. More information will be issued in due course”, Factory KTM shared on social media.
