Justin Barcia è stato retrocesso di una posizione con Justin Bogle squalificato dopo che le cose si sono scaldate tra il pilota Red Bull Gas Gas e il pilota HEP Suzuki nel main event di San Diego.
La coppia si è riunita inizialmente con Barcia, l’autore del reato, poi Bogle, di conseguenza, ha reagito su Barcia che è stato buttato fuori pista, inizialmente sembrava un errore di Bogle, la il comitato sportivo dell’AMA ha analizzato i video e convocato i piloti!

I risultati ufficiali dell’AMA parlano chiari: “(51) – Penalizzato 1 posizione, (19) – Squalificato”.
Barcia ha perso il comando della classifica, ora al quarto posto nella serie dopo la conseguenza di una brutta partenza, ma è ancora lì senza alcun danno reale, a soli tre punti dal nuovo leader, Eli Tomac.
Barcia ha detto: “San Diego è un traguardo e onestamente, per una brutta giornata, è stata una buona giornata. Ho fatto una partenza media nel main ma stavo guidando bene e poi ho finito per cadere. Ho dovuto riorganizzarmi e riportare una carica fino all’ottavo posto. Il nono posto sicuramente non era dove volevo finire, ma l’ho salvato. Mi sentivo come se avessi guidato davvero bene, sono appena arrivato un po’ al di sotto di dove volevo essere. Tutto sommato, non vedo l’ora di tornare ad Anaheim, un posto che mi piace, e sono pronto per tornare sul podio!”
Bogle ha detto dopo 10 minuti e 36 secondi su YouTube di Swapmoto: “Stasera è stata dura. Sono appena stato ripulito quattro giri dopo, la mia notte era un po’ finita da lì, cosa hai intenzione di fare? Alcune persone non hanno il cervello, non tutti hanno il cervello pieno, non credo, e va bene così”.

Justin Barcia was docked one position with Justin Bogle disqualified after things got heated between the Red Bull Gas Gas points leader and the HEP Suzuki rider in the main event at San Diego.
The pair came together initially with Barcia the perpetrator then Bogle, a lap down as a consequence, retaliated with Barcia getting knocked off the track!
The official AMA results stated: “(51) – Penalized 1 position, (19) – Disqualified.”
Barcia is now down to fourth in the series after all the drama as a consequence of a rare bad start for the aggressive rider, but he is still right there with no real harm done, only three points off new leader, Eli Tomac.
Barcia said: “San Diego is a wrap and honestly, for a bad day, it was a good day. I got an average start in the main but I was riding good and then I ended up having a crash. I had to re-group and put a charge all the way back up to eighth. Ninth definitely wasn’t where I wanted to finish but I salvaged it. I felt like I rode really well, just came up a bit short of where I wanted to be. All-in-all, I’m looking forward to getting back to Anaheim, a place that treats me well, and I’m ready to get back on the podium!”
Bogle said after on Swapmoto YouTube 10 min 36 sec in: “Tonight was rough. I just got cleaned out four laps in, my night was kinda over from there, what are you going to do? Some people don’t have brains, not everyone has a full brain, I don’t think, and that’s fine.”
