Stark Varg, electric in the GP and NATIONAL 2022/2023 Championships?
What if the arrival of electric motorcycles in national and then international championships happens earlier than expected, like … in 2022/2023 !? As the friends of DailyMx say throwing us this bell, it would be interesting to evaluate the competitiveness of the vehicle… ..but listen well!

If the announcement of the arrival of the new Stark Varg electric motorcycle was a bomb, the motorcycle federations are not sleeping and are adjusting by changing the eligibility criteria for motorcycles with the aim of accepting electric motorcycles in their championships, and this it is particularly true, the friends of DailyMx always confirm this regarding the French federation.

As for the championships (for now French, including the Elite), the 2022 regulation opens the doors to electric motorcycles, as foreseen by the latest version of the technical regulations: “Electric motorcycles can participate in the various French championships, provided they have immediately an experience to determine the class in which they evolve. ”

We know that the new bike produced by Stark Future offers different driving modes and different “maps”; in short, various powers ranging from 125 2-stroke up to 650 4-stroke (80 hp). Stark Future therefore plans to make room for transparency so that its wonder is accepted in competition. The latest news is that designers are planning to make available a chip that would allow officials to control the power delivered by their motorcycle over the life of a battery.

The Stark Future company clearly shows its ambition to land in the MXGP World and AMA championships from 2023, but the electric VS thermal butt could take place this year in national championships across Europe, including Elite., Like Anton Wass – CEO and co-founder of Stark Future – he recently suggested during a podcast in early January.

Anton Wass – CEO and co-founder of Stark Future: “[…] The best way to show that our technology is superior to thermal is to line up behind the same starting grid as the current 450 in MXGP or US Supercross and beat them. This is our ambition. When will it happen? I hope it is this year [2022]. We are currently in negotiations with various federations open to the project, which have the same problems as all the others: the fields are closed, they can no longer host competitions, people can no longer run. These federations are ready to welcome the electric, which could save our sport. […] The French federation has already authorized electric motorcycles in its regulations, as long as they accept motorcycles, this year we will be allowed to ride nationally in France. The Italian federation has let us know that it would like to have a wild rider on our bike this year, the Swedish federation is also pushing to switch to electric. We also discussed with other federations, it is progressively establishing itself and I think we will see our machines in some events this year […] ”

In charge of testing the Stark Varg, Sebastien Tortelli did not exclude the possibility of participating – himself – in some exhibitions at the handlebars of the new electric motorcycle produced by Stark Future.

At the moment, there are only a handful of dealers of the famous Stark Varg …. Whatever happens, we will have to wait until the end of 2022 for the first deliveries.
