Yamaha conferma la formazione 2022 di EMX125 ed EMX250
Yamaha Motor Europe è lieta di annunciare che la medaglia di bronzo EMX250 Rick Elzinga si unirà agli altri sfidanti per il titolo EMX250 Andrea Bonacorsi e Dave Kooiker nel team Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250 per la campagna 2022 EMX250 European Championship. Nel frattempo, il team MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 ha mantenuto il suo attuale gruppo di giovani stelle, Ivano van Erp, Karlis Reisulis e Ferruccio Zanchi, per la stagione 2022 EMX125.
Alla guida dello sforzo nella classe feeder MX2, EMX250, Elzinga fa il suo ritorno nella famiglia Yamaha dopo una pausa di due anni. L’olandese ha dimostrato le sue capacità nel campionato EMX250 2021 con un’enfatica vittoria assoluta nel suo round di casa, il primo della sua carriera. Il diciannovenne ha continuato a conquistare altri tre podi, prima di assicurarsi la medaglia di bronzo EMX250 con un terzo posto nel round finale a Mantova, in Italia.
Dopo aver vinto il campionato EMX125 nel 2020, Bonacorsi è passato alla classe altamente competitiva EMX250 nel 2021, unendosi al team Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250. Alzando l’asticella per il prossimo raccolto di talenti emergenti, il diciottenne italiano ha completato il suo primo mandato completo nella categoria 250cc al quarto posto dopo aver dimostrato il suo vero potenziale con un paio di vittorie consecutive in due dei tre round a Pietramurata, Italia. Il debuttante ha anche portato sul podio la sua YZ250F equipaggiata con GYTR in altre tre occasioni e cercherà di aggiungere a quel conteggio per organizzare una sfida per il titolo l’anno prossimo.
Rimanendo con l’assetto Hutten Metaal per una terza stagione completa, il sedicenne Kooiker spera di schierarsi in forma e forte nel 2022, desideroso di avvicinarsi di poco ai primi classificati.
Nella serie EMX125, il team MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 è entusiasta di continuare con il suo trio di comprovati sfidanti al titolo, Van Erp, Reisulis e Zanchi.
Tutti e tre i piloti MJC Yamaha hanno festeggiato il podio nel 2021. Van Erp è emerso come uno dei principali contendenti al titolo con tre vittorie in gare e round agli eventi EMX125 in Germania, Spagna e Italia. Dopo aver iniziato la stagione 2021 con un infortunio, Reisulis si è ripreso con una vendetta. Il sedicenne lettone ha concluso la sua stagione con due podi complessivi negli ultimi due round in Italia, finendo secondo in entrambe le occasioni. Zanchi si è classificato secondo assoluto al primo round a Matterley Basin, mentre la prima stagione completa dell’italiano nella serie includeva anche un’impressionante vittoria di gara in Francia.
Tutti e tre i piloti sono fiduciosi e desiderosi di continuare a correre con la YZ125 equipaggiata con GYTR altamente competitiva all’interno del campionato EMX125 nel 2022.

“Non vediamo l’ora che arrivi il campionato europeo di motocross 2022 dopo aver assicurato una forte formazione 2022 per entrambi i nostri team ufficiali EMX250 ed EMX125. In EMX250, dopo un’incredibile stagione da rookie con Andrea Bonacorsi arrivato quarto nel campionato EMX250, siamo entusiasti di tenere Andrea a bordo per un’altra stagione in cui speriamo di sfidare regolarmente il podio. Yamaha Confirms 2022 EMX125 & EMX250 Line Up
Yamaha Motor Europe is delighted to announce that EMX250 bronze medalist Rick Elzinga will join fellow EMX250 title challengers Andrea Bonacorsi and Dave Kooiker at the Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250 team for the 2022 EMX250 European Championship campaign. Meanwhile, the MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 team has retained its current crop of young stars, Ivano van Erp, Karlis Reisulis and Ferruccio Zanchi, for the 2022 EMX125 season.
Spearheading the effort in the MX2 feeder class, EMX250, Elzinga makes his return to the Yamaha Family after a two-year hiatus. The Dutchman demonstrated his capabilities in the 2021 EMX250 Championship with an emphatic overall victory at his home round, the first of his career. The 19-year-old went on to score another three podiums, before securing the EMX250 bronze medal with a third-place finish at the final round in Mantova, Italy.
After winning the EMX125 Championship in 2020, Bonacorsi moved up to the highly competitive EMX250 class in 2021, joining the Hutten Metaal Yamaha Official EMX250 team. Raising the bar for the next crop of up-and-coming talents, the 18-year-old Italian completed his first full term in the 250cc category in fourth overall after proving his true potential with a pair of back-to-back race wins at two of the three rounds in Pietramurata, Italy. The rookie sensation also raced his GYTR kitted YZ250F to the podium on three further occasions and will look to add to that tally to mount a title challenge next year.
Remaining with the Hutten Metaal set-up for a third full-season, 16-year-old Kooiker hopes to line up fit and strong in 2022, eager to inch closer to the front runners.
In the EMX125 series, the MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 team is thrilled to continue with its trio of proven title challengers, Van Erp, Reisulis and Zanchi.
All three MJC Yamaha riders celebrated podium silverware in 2021. Van Erp emerged as one of the major title contenders with three race and round wins at EMX125 events in Germany, Spain, and Italy. After starting the 2021 season with an injury, Reisulis bounced back with a vengeance. The 16-year-old Latvian rounded out his season with two overall podiums at the final two rounds in Italy, finishing second on both occasions. Zanchi was classified second overall at the first round in Matterley Basin, while the Italian’s first full season in the series also included an impressive race victory in France.
All three riders are confident and eager to continue racing the highly competitive GYTR kitted YZ125 inside the EMX125 Championship in 2022.
