Honda Racing Assomotor Team, nella figura del suo manager Alfredo Bevilacqua, comunica, seppur a malincuore, che dal 1 settembre 2021 il pilota Gianluca Facchetti non farà più parte della squadra.
La decisione di liberare il pilota prima della naturale scadenza del contratto risiede principalmente nella volontà esplicita del Sig. Facchetti, e si è resa a maggior ragione necessaria a seguito della grave violazione del patto di esclusiva, che prevedeva il divieto di utilizzo di moto di altri team; violazione che ha comportato l’interruzione anticipata del rapporto di collaborazione.
Il team inserirà nella squadra MX2, per i GP di Turchia e Riola Sardo, il pilota Emil Weckman, che affiancherà Stephen Rubini in attesa di poter definire il nuovo assetto della squadra e terminare al meglio la stagione 2021.

Honda Racing Assomotor Team, in the figure of its manager Alfredo Bevilacqua, announces, albeit reluctantly, that from September 1, 2021 the rider Gianluca Facchetti will no longer be part of the team.
The decision to release the rider before the natural expiration of the contract lies primarily in the explicit will of Mr. Facchetti, and it was made all the more necessary following the serious violation of the exclusive agreement, which provided for the prohibition to use the bikes of other teams; violation that has led to the early termination of the relationship.
The team will insert in the MX2 team, for the GP of Turkey and Riola Sardo, the rider Emil Weckman, who will join Stephen Rubini while waiting to define the new structure of the team and finish the 2021 season in the best way.
