JM Racing Honda al completo per il Gran Premio di casa a Lommel
Il team JM Racing Honda è di nuovo al completo e inizierà questo fine settimana con Henry Jacobi e Michele Cervellin nel suo Gran Premio di casa a Lommel. Cervellin ha dovuto fare i conti con una brutta infezione al polso durante il periodo invernale e quindi ha saltato l’inizio del mondiale MXGP. L’italiano si è allenato per diverse settimane e si sente abbastanza in forma per tornare questo fine settimana durante il Gran Premio di Lommel.
“A causa del mio infortunio al polso, ho perso molte ore sulla moto. Non puoi rimediare a questo in poche settimane. Ho un buon gruppo di persone dietro di me all’interno della squadra e dopo una buona consultazione abbiamo deciso di tornare alla competizione questo fine settimana. L’obiettivo principale per me è ottenere un ritmo di gara in modo da poter tornare al mio vecchio livello nel prossimo periodo”, afferma Michele.
Il compagno di squadra di Michele Cervellin, Henry Jacobi, si è già assicurato due primi dieci posti nel solido Campionato del Mondo MXGP quest’anno. Jacobi è in buona forma e si concentrerà nelle prossime gare per completare due buone manche per Gran Premio. In classifica per il mondiale, occupa il quindicesimo posto dopo cinque round.
“Henry ha già mostrato buone cose quest’anno, ma nelle prossime gare dovremo lavorare per portargli due manche costanti. La sua forma è buona e possiamo sicuramente segnare bene con quello nelle prossime gare. Michele si è allenato per diverse settimane ed è abbastanza in forma per tornare alle competizioni. Ovviamente Lommel non è la gara più facile per lui, ma la affronteremo positivamente e inizieremo a costruire con lui da qui”, afferma il proprietario del team Jacky Martens.
Il Gran Premio del Belgio a Lommel si svolgerà domenica prossima con la prima prova alle 13:15 e la seconda alle 16:05.

JM Honda Racing Team At Full Strength For Home GP At Lommel
The JM Racing Honda Team is back to full strength again and will be on the start line with both Henry Jacobi and Michele Cervellin at its home GP in Lommel, Belgium. Cervellin contracted a nagging infection in his wrist during the winter period, and this cause him to miss the start of the MXGP season. The Italian has been training for a few weeks, and is feeling fit enough to return to competitive racing.
“I missed a lot of training time on the bike as a result of the wrist injury. It’s not possible to recover that within the space of a few week. I am fortunate at having a good group of people within the team that have my back, and we jointly decided that I will return to racing this weekend. The most important part for me is to gain race rhythm, so that I can work towards my previous level,” Cervellin said.
Cervellin’s teammate, Henry Jacobi, has scored two top ten places in GP races thus far in the season in a packet and very competitive MXGP class. Jacobi is in good form, and will focus on completing two good races on every GP weekend. He is currently 15th in the championship series after five rounds.
“Henry has had some great performances on display already this season, but we are now focusing on getting to a point where he has two consistent finishes during each race weekend,” team owner Jacky Martens said. “He is currently in great form, and is certainly able to score well in the series. Michele has been back in training for a few weeks, and is fit enough to return to racing. Lommel is of course not the easiest of tracks to get going with, but we are going into the race with a positive attitude, and will begin the rebuilding process with him.”
The Belgian GP at Lommel will take place this coming Sunday. The first heat is at 13:15 and the second at 16:05.

JM Racing Honda op volle sterkte naar thuis Grand Prix in Lommel
Het JM Racing Honda team is weer compleet en zal aankomend weekend met zowel Henry Jacobi als Michele Cervellin aan de start komen in haar thuis Grand Prix in Lommel. Cervellin kreeg in de winterperiode af te rekenen met een vervelende ontsteking in zijn pols en miste daardoor de start van het wereldkampioenschap MXGP. De Italiaan is al een aantal weken aan het trainen en voelt zich fit genoeg om aankomend weekend terug te keren tijdens de Grand Prix van Lommel.
‘’Door mijn polsblessure heb ik veel uren op de motor gemist. Dit kun je niet in een paar weken inhalen. Ik heb een goede groep van mensen achter mij staan binnen het team en in goed overleg hebben we besloten om dit weekend terug te keren in de competitie. Het belangrijkste doel voor mij is om wedstrijdritme op te doen zodat ik in de komende periode terug naar mijn oude niveau kan groeien,’’ vertelt Michele.
De teammaat van Michele Cervellin, Henry Jacobi, heeft dit jaar al twee top tien plaatsen weten te behalen in het ijzersterke wereldkampioenschap MXGP. Jacobi heeft een goede vorm in handen en zal zich in de komende wedstrijden focussen om twee goede manches per Grand Prix af te werken. In de tussenstand om het wereldkampioenschap bezet hij na vijf wedstrijden de vijftiende plaats.
‘’Henry heeft dit jaar al goede dingen laten zien maar in de komende wedstrijden moeten we eraan werken dat hij twee constante manches kan rijden. Met zijn vorm zit het goed en daar kunnen we zeker in de komende wedstrijden goed mee scoren. Michele heeft nu een aantal weken getraind en is fit genoeg om weer terug te keren in de wedstrijden. Uiteraard is Lommel niet de meest makkelijke wedstrijd voor hem maar we gaan het positief benaderen en beginnen vanaf hier te bouwen met hem,’’ vertelt teameigenaar Jacky Martens.
De Belgische Grand Prix in Lommel wordt aanstaande zondag verreden met de eerste manche om 13:15 uur en de tweede manche om 16:05 uur.
