Michele Cervellin Misses GP’s Of Great Britain And Italy
Michele Cervellin salta i GP di Gran Bretagna e Italia
Michele Cervellin del team JM Racing Honda salterà i prossimi due round del campionato mondiale di motocross MXGP. In preparazione alla stagione, Cervellin ha accusato un malessere per un vecchio infortunio al polso, dal quale ora si sta riprendendo. La ripresa sta andando bene, ma le due gare sono ancora un po’ troppo ravvicinate per lui, e la decisione è stata presa per permettergli di guarire a dovere e tornare alla serie MXGP in piena forma.
Il proprietario del team Jacky Martens: “Michele si sta riprendendo da un vecchio infortunio. Ovviamente è una situazione spiacevole, perché questo gli ha fatto perdere l’inizio della stagione iridata. Sta lavorando duramente per la sua guarigione, ma purtroppo i prossimi due GP sono ancora un po’ troppo presto. Vogliamo che ritorni solo quando sarà completamente guarito. La classe MXGP è estremamente competitiva in questa stagione e devi avere tutte le condizioni per fare bene.”
Michele Cervellin ha dichiarato: “È un peccato aver dovuto perdere l’inizio della stagione MXGP a causa di questo infortunio. Per ora è importante recuperare completamente prima di ricominciare a correre. Ci stiamo lavorando per tornare il prima possibile. L’atmosfera nella squadra è fantastica e insieme a loro voglio raggiungere il mio livello migliore”.
Il team JM Racing sarà in azione al secondo round della serie del campionato mondiale MXGP a Matterley Basin in Inghilterra. Henry Jacobi ha mostrato una buona velocità in Russia e spera di convertirla in un buon punteggio in Inghilterra.

Michele Cervellin of the JM Racing Honda team will have to miss the next two rounds of the MXGP World Championship in England and Italy.
The Italian driver is recovering from a wrist injury and his current form will not allow him to compete in the next races again. Team manager Jacky Martens prefers that the driver return to the race once he is fully recovered.
Team owner Jacky Martens commented: “Michele is recovering from an old injury. It is of course a regrettable situation, because this meant that he missed the start of the world championship season. He is working hard on his recovery, but alas, the next two GP’s are still a bit too soon. We want him to return only when he has healed up fully. The MXGP class is extremely competitive this season, and you have to have all your ducks in a row to score well.’’
Michele Cervellin said: “It’s a pity that I had to miss the start of the MXGP season through this injury. For now it is important to recover fully before I start racing again. We are working hard on it to be back as soon as possible. The atmosphere in the team is great and together with them I want to build up to my best level.”
The JM Racing team will be in action at the second round of the MXGP world championship series at Matterley Basin in England. Henry Jacobi had good speed on display in Russia and hopes to convert this into a good score in England.
