Evans sarà operato al polso problematico
Mitch Evans del Team HRC è destinato a subire un altro intervento chirurgico al polso sinistro, poiché il suo recupero dall’infortunio subito al MXGP 2020 in Spagna non è andato come previsto. Il pilota australiano aveva sperato di correre al round di apertura del campione del mondo FIM Motocross 2021 in Russia, ma le complicazioni hanno fatto sì che il suo ritorno in azione fosse ritardato e ora è stata presa la decisione di sottoporsi ad un altro intervento chirurgico in Australia per risolvi il problema.
Tutti nel Team HRC augurano a Mitch il meglio per l’intervento, con il recupero e speriamo tutti di vederlo presto in pista.

È stata una decisione davvero difficile dover fare questo intervento, sapendo che mi sarei perso più corse ma sapevo che il mio polso non era al 100% e non sarei stato in grado di competere al livello che volevo fino a quando non avessi risolto. Ora sono tornato in Australia per prepararmi per l’intervento e rimarrò qui finché non sarò pronto per tornare in azione, che si spera non sia troppo lungo. Un grande ringraziamento al team per il loro supporto e congratulazioni a Tim per l’eccellente viaggio in Russia, non vedo l’ora di essere al cancello insieme a te! Inoltre, grazie ai miei fan per il loro supporto durante questo periodo difficile, è bello che così tante persone credano in me e non vedo l’ora di vedervi tutti alle gare in modo da poter ripagare la fiducia di tutti.

Evans to have surgery on troublesome wrist
Team HRC’s Mitch Evans is set to have another surgery on his left wrist, as his recovery from the injury he sustained at the 2020 MXGP of Spain hasn’t gone as planned. The Australian rider had hoped to be racing at the opening round of the 2021 FIM World Motocross Champion in Russia, but complications have meant his return to action had to be delayed and now the decision has been made to have another surgery back in Australia to completely fix the problem.
Everyone in Team HRC wishes Mitch the best for the surgery, and with the recovery and we all hope to see him at the track soon.

It was a really difficult decision to have to do this surgery, knowing that I’d be missing more racing but I knew that my wrist wasn’t 100% and I wouldn’t be able to compete at the level I wanted until I got it fixed. Now I’m back in Australia getting ready for the surgery and I’ll stay here until I’m ready to return to action, which hopefully won’t be too long. A big thank you to the team for their support and congrats to Tim on an excellent ride in Russia, I can’t wait to be on the gate alongside you! Also, thanks to my fans for their support during this tough period, it feels good that so many people believe in me and I’m looking forward to seeing you all at the races so I can repay everyone’s faith.
