Mitch Evans salterà l’apertura di MXGP
Mitch Evans del Team HRC dovrà purtroppo saltare il round di apertura della stagione MXGP 2021 dopo che le complicazioni con il suo infortunio al polso hanno fatto sì che l’australiano non si sia completamente ripreso abbastanza per correre a livello mondiale a Orlyonok, in Russia, il prossimo fine settimana .
È un grande peccato per Evans, che ha dimostrato che quando si è completamente in forma, può combattere con i migliori piloti della classe, ottenendo numerosi primi cinque piazzamenti in quella che è stata la sua campagna da debuttante MXGP nel 2020. cerca di essere sano al 100% in modo che possa tornare a quel livello e lottare per il podio quando tornerà in azione.

Ovviamente sono molto dispiaciuto di dover perdere la Russia e l’inizio di questa stagione. Ho fatto del mio meglio per essere pronto, ma non siamo in una posizione in cui mi sento sicuro di poter dare il mio meglio ed esibirmi al livello che mi aspetto da me stesso. Tutti al Team HRC hanno mostrato il loro supporto in questo momento difficile e ora spetta a me assicurarmi di essere di nuovo pronto a competere nel più breve tempo possibile. Un grande grazie alla mia squadra e a tutti i miei fan in tutto il mondo, e spero di poterti vedere presto in una pista.

Mitch Evans to miss MXGP openerTeam HRC’s Mitch Evans will unfortunately have to sit-out the opening round of the 2021 MXGP season after complications with his wrist injury have meant that the Australian isn’t fully recovered enough to race at the world championship level in Orlyonok, Russia, next weekend. It is a big shame for Evans, who has shown that when he fully fit, he can battle with the top riders in the class, posting numerous top five finishes in what was his rookie MXGP campaign in 2020. Now though, his focus is to try and get 100% healthy so that he can get back to that level and challenge for the podium spots when he returns to racing action. |
