PAR Homes Husqvarna Racing 2021 rider line up
Il team PAR Homes Husqvarna Racing è lieto di confermare la loro formazione di piloti per la stagione 2021. Dopo aver partecipato nel Campionato del Mondo MX2 per la squadra quest’anno, Josh Gilbert rimarrà con il team ma correrà con la 450cc. L’attenzione si concentrerà sul campionato britannico MX1 Revo ACU, sulla serie nazionale britannica MX e sul campionato mondiale MXGP.
Insieme a Gilbert sotto il tendone ci sarà un altro giovane britannico Calum Mitchell e il francese Florian Miot. Entrambi i piloti gareggeranno nel campionato britannico MX2 Revo ACU, nella serie MX Nationals UK e nella serie EMX250.
I Putnam Brothers rimarranno con la squadra anche per la stagione 2021. È stato deciso che Charlie passerà alla classe MX1 mentre Sydney, che ha appena 15 anni, correrà nella classe giovanile 125cc.
Il team vorrebbe cogliere l’occasione per ringraziare Paul Rowlands e tutti i membri di PAR Homes per il loro continuo supporto.
Josh Gilbert: La decisione di restare con la squadra è stata abbastanza semplice, sono contento di tutto. Non vedo l’ora che arrivi il 450, mi sono allenato in passato e sento di adattarmi meglio a un 450! Sarà un altro grande anno di apprendimento per me, ma sento che con un buon pre-campionato sarò una grande minaccia per il campionato britannico e spero di migliorare man mano che la stagione prosegue in MXGP. Florian Miot: Sono felice di confermare che indosserò i colori PAR Homes Husqvarna Racing per la stagione 2021. Parteciperò al campionato EMX250 e alla serie britannica. Un grande grazie al team e al Doma Racing Exhaust Systems (Dominique) per tutto quello che fanno per me.
Calum Mitchell: Sono davvero felice di avere un team così alto dietro di me per la prossima stagione di gare. Ero un po ‘senza parole quando ho ricevuto la chiamata dicendo che questa era la mia opportunità di guidare per Neil Prince nel 2021! Già provando la loro moto e facendo i test fitness, mi sentivo molto a mio agio con tutto. Le aspettative per il 2021 sono di competere i campionati britannici e si spera di essere tra i primi cinque. Ho appena compiuto 19 anni e voglio fare il meglio che posso fare dopo aver già trascorso un paio di anni nella classe! Gli europei saranno nuovi per me, quindi mi piacerebbe correre quante più gare possibile con dei risultati concreti. Vorrei ringraziare tutti i miei sponsor che verranno con me in questo nuovo viaggio, Stebbings Car Superstore e FabriCan Engineering. Un grande ringraziamento anche al team SFRacingUK per il supporto degli ultimi due anni. Non vedo l’ora che inizi la nuova stagione.
Charlie Putnam: Sono entusiasta per il 2021 di passare alla classe 450 sulla mia Husqvarna FC 450 PAR Homes. È un passo di cui abbiamo parlato molto, ho un brillante gruppo di persone intorno a me che non posso ringraziare a sufficienza per lo sforzo che hanno fatto tutti. Sono entusiasta di mettermi al lavoro e far girare la palla per vedere quali risultati posso restituire loro!
Syd Putnam: Sono con la squadra dalla 85 da un paio d’anni e per il 2021 rimarrò con la squadra per il mio primo anno sulla 125. Ci sono stato un paio di volte ora e io lo sto già amando, quindi non vedo l’ora che arrivi un buon anno per provare a progredire il più possibile con questa brillante squadra!
Matt Walker (Husqvarna Motorcycles UK): Il 2021 si preannuncia un anno di gare molto interessante e speriamo che PAR Homes Husqvarna fornisca i risultati per Husqvarna di cui sono chiaramente capaci. Sappiamo che l’esperienza del team è inestimabile e Neil ha dimostrato più volte di essere in grado di estrarre il meglio dai suoi piloti. In Josh, Calum, Florian, Charlie e Syd, Neil ha messo insieme un talentuoso gruppo di corridori capaci di vittorie e titoli: non vediamo l’ora che ce la faccia!

PAR Homes Husqvarna Racing 2021 rider line up
The PAR Homes Husqvarna Racing team are pleased to confirm their rider line up for the 2021 season.
After racing the MX2 World Championship for the team this year, Josh Gilbert will stay with the team but race the 450cc. The focus will be on the MX1 Revo ACU British Championship, MX National UK series and the MXGP World Championship.
Joining Gilbert under the awning will be another young Brit in the form of Calum Mitchell and French import Florian Miot.
Both riders will race the MX2 Revo ACU British Championship, MX Nationals UK series as well as the EMX250 series.
Mitchell has impressed the team running a privateer effort and have decided to draft him into the team for 2021 while Miot has a lot of European experience and will move up from the 125cc to the 250cc in 2021 – he could be one for the future.
The Putnam Brothers will also stay with the team for the 2021 season. It’s been decided that Charlie will move up to the MX1 class while Syd who’s just 15 years old will race the the 125cc youth class.

I’m looking forward to the 450, I’ve practiced on them in the past for training and I feel that I suit a 450 better! It’s going to be another big learning year for me but I feel with a good pre season I’ll be a big threat in the British championship and will hope to improve as the season goes on in MXGP. Calum Mitchell: I’m really happy to have such a top team behind me for the next season of racing. I was kind of speechless when I got the call saying this was my opportunity to ride for Neil Prince in 2021! Already having a go on their bike and doing fitness testing, I felt very comfortable with everything. The expectations for 2021 are to contest the British championships and hopefully be top five. I am just turning 19 years old and I want to do the best I can do after having a couple years in the class already! The Europeans will be new for me so I would like to race as many races as I can with some solid results. I would like to thank all my sponsors that are coming with me on this new journey, Stebbings Car Superstore and FabriCan Engineering. Also a big thanks to the SFRacingUK team for the support the past two years. I can’t wait for the new season to kick off.
Charlie Putnam: I’m excited for 2021 stepping up to the 450 class on my PAR Homes Husqvarna FC 450. It’s a step that we have talked about a lot, I’ve got a brilliant group of people around me that I can’t thank enough for the effort they all put in. I’m excited to put in the work and get the ball rolling to see what results I can give back to them!
Syd Putnam: I have been with the team on my big wheel 85 for a couple of years now and for 2021 I will be staying with the team for my first year on the 125. I have been out on it a few times now and I’m already loving it so I’m looking forward to a good year to try and progress as much as I can with this brilliant team!
Matt Walker (Husqvarna Motorcycles UK): 2021 is shaping up into a very interesting year of racing, and we’re hoping PAR Homes Husqvarna will deliver the results for Husqvarna that they are clearly capable of. We know the team’s experience is invaluable and Neil has proven time and again that he is able to extract the best from his riders. In Josh, Calum, Florian, Charlie and Syd, Neil has assembled a talented trio of riders that are capable of wins and titles – we’re looking forward to them delivering!
