Petar Petrov with KMP Honda in MXGP!
Petar Petrov ha ora annunciato i suoi piani per la stagione 2021.
Petrov ha siglato un accordo con il team tedesco, KMP Honda Racing e il team farà un passo avanti per correre il campionato del mondo MXGP che vedrà un altro nuovo team nel paddock. Il team ha disputato gare MXGP wildcard in passato, ma sarà bello vederli permanentemente nel paddock mentre correranno i round europei della serie oltre al Campionato del Mondo MXGP, Petrov correrà con la serie ADAC MX Masters.
Petar Petrov: “Ho parlato con Alex di KMP già alcuni anni fa e ci siamo ricontattati quest’anno e ha detto che aveva intenzione di fare i GP. Abbiamo continuato a parlare e abbiamo raggiunto un accordo, quindi sono molto felice e non vedo l’ora di salire sulla nuova moto e soprattutto la nuova Honda ha un bell’aspetto, quindi non vedo l’ora di iniziare e iniziare a prepararmi per la prossima stagione. Per il prossimo anno voglio lottare tra i primi 15 e cercare di avvicinarmi ai primi 10 e lottare per il titolo ADAC. Voglio ringraziare Alex di KMP e sicuramente il team VRT Nordpesca per questa stagione e tutti gli sponsor – grazie ragazzi. ”

Petar Petrov has now announced his plans for the 2021 season.
Petrov has inked a deal with German team, KMP Honda Racing and the team will step up to race the MXGP World Championship which will see another new team in the paddock. The team have contested wildcard MXGP races in the past but it’ll be nice to see them permanently in the paddock – they will race the European rounds of the series. Petrov will race the ADAC MX Masters series.
Petar Petrov: “I’ve been speaking to Alex from KMP already a few years ago and we got in contact again this year and he said he had plans to do GP’s. We continued to talk and we got to a deal so I am very happy about it and can’t wait to get on the new bike and especially the new Honda looks great so I can’t wait to get started and start getting ready for next season. For next year I want to be fighting inside the top 15 and try get close to top 10 and fight for the ADAC title. I want to thank Alex from KMP and for sure VRT Nordpesca team for this season and all the sponsors – thank you guys.”
