Nathan Watson e Benoit Paturel in MXGP con il Team Honda France SR Motoblouz
Per il terzo anno consecutivo il team Honda France SR Motoblouz gareggerà nella prossima stagione nel Campionato del Mondo MXGP, con una nuova formazione. Unendosi al team per le Beach Races Nathan Watson tornerà nella sua serie preferita e avrà Benoit Paturel come compagno di squadra.
Poche settimane dopo aver presentato la sua formazione per le Beach Races (Nathan Watson, Lars Van Berkel e Richard Fura, con Matheo Miot come pilota di supporto), Josse Sallefranque è lieto di confermare che il team SR entrerà anche nel 2021 nel campionato francese e nel mondiale di motocross. Offre a Nathan Watson una grande opportunità per tornare nel Motocross, dopo essere stato costretto a passare con successo alle gare di Enduro e Beach, e dà un’altra possibilità a Benoit Paturel che è stato sfortunato dal suo passaggio nella classe MXGP.
Nathan, terzo della MX of Nations 2019 con il Team Great Britain, ha avuto un assaggio dell’MXGP durante l’ultimo round belga della serie, dove ha ottenuto un undicesimo posto in una manche. Vincitore del MX of Nations 2016 con il Team France, Benoit segna diversi piazzamenti nei primi otto in questa stagione nonostante abbia saltato diversi round a causa di un infortunio a metà stagione. Entrambi i piloti saranno allenati da Christophe Meyer, ed entreranno nell’Elite francese (primo round il 14 marzo a Castelnau de Levis) e nel campionato MXGP (primo round il 3 aprile in Oman).
Nathan Watson: “Sono davvero entusiasta di tornare in MXGP! Negli ultimi anni ho voluto tornare a gareggiare nel motocross e ora ne ho l’opportunità, voglio sfruttarla al meglio! ”
Benoit Paturel: “Sono felicissimo di avere questa opportunità, e voglio ringraziare Josse che si fida di me e mi offre un buon giro; Sono felice di continuare a guidare una Honda perché ho un ottimo feeling con questa moto. Sarà bello lavorare di nuovo con una squadra francese, tornare nella serie francese e non vedo l’ora di iniziare a lavorare con Christophe Meyer “.
Josse Sallefranque: “Sono molto felice di avere una squadra nuova e giovane, dopo due anni al fianco di Jeremy che ci porta la sua esperienza. Difenderemo il nostro titolo francese MX1 e nella MXGP ci aspettiamo di essere di nuovo il miglior team privato con i primi dodici risultati. Con il nostro trainer Christophe Meyer, offriremo tutta la nostra esperienza e conoscenza a Nathan e Benoit; conosciamo il loro potenziale, ora spetta al team aiutarli a ottenere i risultati che tutti ci aspettiamo “.

Nathan Watson and Benoit Paturel in MXGP with Team Honda France SR Motoblouz
For the third year in a row team Honda France SR Motoblouz will compete next season in the MXGP World Championship, with a new line up. Joining the team for the Beach Races Nathan Watson will be back in his favourite series, and will have Benoit Paturel as team mate.
A few weeks after introducing his line up for the Beach Races (Nathan Watson, Lars Van Berkel and Richard Fura, with Matheo Miot as support rider), Josse Sallefranque is pleased to confirm that the SR team will also enter in 2021 the French and World Motocross Championships. He offers Nathan Watson a great opportunity to be back in Motocross, after being forced to move successfully to Enduro and Beach Races, and gives another chance to Benoit Paturel who has been unlucky since his move in the MXGP class.
Nathan, third of the 2019 MX of Nations with Team Great Britain, had a taste of MXGP during the last Belgian round of the series, where he scores an eleventh position in one moto. Winner of the 2016 MX of Nations with Team France, Benoit scores several top eight results this season despite missing several rounds due to an injury mid season. Both riders will be trained by Christophe Meyer, and will enter the French Elite (first round on March 14th in Castelnau de Levis) and the MXGP Championship (first round on April 3rd in Oman).
Nathan Watson: “I’m really excited to get back into MXGP! I’ve been wanting to get back motocross racing for the last few years and now I have the opportunity, I want to make the most of it!”
Benoit Paturel: “I’m delighted to have this opportunity, and want to thanks Josse who trust me and offers me a good ride; I’m happy to continue riding a Honda as I have such a great feeling with this bike. It will be nice to work again with a French team, to be back in the French series and I can’t wait to start working with Christophe Meyer.”
Josse Sallefranque: “I’m very happy to have a new and young team, after two years alongside Jeremy who brings us his experience. We will defend our French MX1 title, and in the MXGP we expect to be again the best private team with top twelve results. With our trainer Christophe Meyer, we will offer all our experience and knowledge to Nathan and Benoit; we know their potential, now it’s up to the team to help them to get the results we all expect.”
