GASGAS Motorcycles si è assicurata le firme di piloti ancora più entusiasmanti in vista della stagione MXGP 2021! L’ex campione del mondo MX2 Pauls Jonass si allea con il bravissimo Brian Bogers per completare la nuovissima line-up di piloti MXGP di Standing Construct GASGAS Factory Racing! Con il suo stile di guida all-action, Pauls sarà il compagno perfetto per la fantastica MC 450F mentre il lettone non vede l’ora di ristabilirsi come uno dei migliori al mondo. Fornendo una buona serie di risultati durante il 2020, Bogers è pronto a mescolarlo con i grandi battitori della classe MXGP.
Un pilota collaudato MXGP, Jonass è entrato nella scena del Gran Premio nel 2014, progredendo rapidamente fino a diventare campione del mondo MX2 solo tre anni dopo. Posizionandosi al secondo posto nel 2018, il lettone è poi passato alla classe MXGP per la stagione successiva. Nella sua campagna di debutto in 450cc è stato veloce nel trovare il successo, assicurandosi tre visite complessive sul podio e un impressionante sesto posto nella classifica finale.
Il 2020 sarebbe stato l’anno del successo di Jonass, ma un incidente di allenamento prematuro ha concluso la sua stagione in anticipo. Dopo mesi di riabilitazione e con il suo desiderio di successo più forte che mai, ora è tornato in piena forma, pronto a battere le sbarre e lottare per il podio quando il cancello per l’inizio della stagione 2021.
In competizione al fianco di Jonass, Brian Bogers si unisce anche a Standing Construct GASGAS Factory Racing per il 2021. Attualmente classificato 12 ° nel Campionato del Mondo MXGP 2020, l’olandese è stato una minaccia costante per i primi cinque risultati durante i recenti GP. Puntando alla top-10 nella classifica finale MXGP, Bogers, come il suo nuovo compagno di squadra, entrerà presto nella bassa stagione concentrandosi sui test e sulla preparazione in vista della nuova stagione MXGP.

A proven MXGP racer, Jonass entered the grand prix scene in 2014, rapidly progressing to become MX2 World Champion just three years later. Placing as runner-up in 2018, the Latvian then moved to the MXGP class for the following season. In his debut 450cc campaign he was quick to find success, securing three overall podium visits and an impressive sixth place in the final standings.
2020 was set to be Jonass’ breakout year but an untimely training crash ended his season early. Following months of rehabilitation and with his desire for success stronger than ever, he’s now back to full fitness, ready to bang bars and fight for podiums when the gate drops for the start of the 2021 season.
Competing alongside Jonass, Brian Bogers also joins Standing Construct GASGAS Factory Racing for 2021. Currently ranked 12th in the 2020 MXGP World Championship, the Dutchman has been a constant threat for top-five results during recent GPs. Aiming for the top-10 in the final MXGP standings, Bogers, like his new teammate, will soon head into the off-season focused on testing and preparation ahead of the new MXGP season.
