MANTOVA – E’ caduto all’ultimo giro del Gran Premio MXGP della Lombardia, che si è tenuto oggi sulla pista del Migliaretto, e ha perso i sensi in gara, il lituano dell’Husqvarna Arminas Jasikonis. Subito soccorso dal personale del 118, il pilota baltico è stato elitrasportato a Cremona, dove sono in corso accertamenti.
Condizioni serie per Arminas Jasikonis finto pesantemente a terra dopo essersi capottato in un salto, prontamente soccorso mentre era privo di sensi e dopo essere stato intubato è stato trasportato in elicottero in ospedale per verificare attentamente le sue condizioni.

Dopo il ricovero in ospedale di Arminas Jasikonis domenica pomeriggio, 27 settembre, durante la seconda gara MXGP al MXGP di Lombardia, Mantova, Italia, Husqvarna Motorcycles vorrebbe rilasciare il seguente aggiornamento sulle condizioni di AJ.
Portato all’ospedale di Cremona, in Italia, ad Arminas è stata diagnosticata una lesione cerebrale traumatica e, come è procedura di routine con lesioni di questo tipo, è stato posto in coma indotto dal medico per stabilizzare la sua situazione. A causa della gravità di lesioni di questo tipo, AJ rimane in coma e riceve cure specialistiche continue. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing desidera ringraziare tutto il personale medico che ha assistito Arminas, nonché i numerosi sostenitori sia all’interno del paddock MXGP che della più ampia comunità motociclistica. Antti Pyrhönen – Team Manager Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing MXGP: “Questa è una situazione molto grave per Arminas e un momento molto difficile per la sua famiglia e per tutti coloro che sono coinvolti nella squadra. Dopo che AJ è stato ricoverato in ospedale domenica notte, è stato messo in coma farmacologico a causa del trauma che ha subito al cervello. In realtà, non c’è molto altro da dire in questo momento: questa è la situazione, una situazione molto grave e difficile per tutti, e ora dobbiamo aspettare e rimanere positivi. Ha le migliori cure mediche intorno a lui e siamo in stretto contatto con entrambi gli specialisti dell’ospedale qui in Italia ma anche a Innsbruck, in Austria. Following Arminas Jasikonis’ admittance to hospital on Sunday afternoon, September 27, during the second MXGP race at the MXGP of Lombardia, Mantova, Italy, Husqvarna Motorcycles would like to issue the following update on AJ’s condition.
Taken to hospital in Cremona, Italy, Arminas was diagnosed as having a traumatic brain injury and, as is routine procedure with injuries of this type, placed in a medically induced coma in order to stabilise his situation. Due to the serious nature of injuries of this kind, AJ remains in a coma and is receiving ongoing specialist care. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing would like to thank all medical staff that have assisted Arminas as well as the numerous well-wishers both from within the MXGP paddock and the wider motorcycle community.
