Dopo che Aaron Plessinger della Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racin ha avuto un infortunio al polso durante l’allenamento della scorsa settimana, il team ha annunciato che potrebbe perdere fino a 12 settimane mentre si riprende.

“Sfortunatamente, Aaron è stato ferito la scorsa settimana proprio mentre ci stavamo preparando per l’inizio della stagione del motocross”, ha dichiarato Jim Roach Yamaha Racing Department Manager per YMUS. “Siamo entusiasti di avere qualcuno con l’esperienza di Broc nel team Monster Factory Yamaha Factory e non vediamo l’ora di iniziare la stagione del Pro Motocross!”
L’accordo di Tickle con JGRMX era solo per il supercross ma il team avrebbe dovuto fornirgli supporto per tutta l’estate. Tuttavia, quando Plessinger ha subito un infortunio e Yamaha ha raggiunto il pilota, è stato in grado di prendere il posto sotto la tenda Yamaha.

After Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racin’s Aaron Plessinger suffered a dislocated wrist while training last week, the team announced he could miss up to 12 weeks while he recovers.
This afternoon, Yamaha announced that Tickle had officially been added to the team to fill Plessinger’s spot aboard a Yamaha YZ450F.
“I’m super excited about this opportunity and grateful to be a part of the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing Team for the outdoor season that starts up here in a couple weeks,” said Tickle. “For myself, I’m just really looking forward to it. It’s a great opportunity, and a good group of people around me. We’ll start off at Loretta’s and build from there.”
“Unfortunately, Aaron was injured last week just as we were ramping up for the start of the motocross season,” said Jim Roach Yamaha Racing Department Manager for YMUS. “We are excited to have someone with Broc’s experience on the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory team and are looking forward to getting the Pro Motocross season started!”
Tickle’s deal with JGRMX was supercross-only but the team was expected to provide him support throughout this summer. However, when Plessinger suffered his injury and Yamaha reached out to Tickle, he was able take the spot under the Yamaha tent.
