L’AMA conferma i risultati del carburante Geico Honda dopo una protesta
In seguito al Main Event di Monster Energy AMA Supercross 250SX East / West Showdown il 21 giugno allo stadio Rice-Eccles di Salt Lake City, è stata presentata una protesta per il carburante contro il vincitore della gara, Chase Sexton del team GEICO Honda.
Dopo aver aderito alle procedure di prova del carburante riportate nell’Appendice E del regolamento AMA Supercross del 2020, la Race Direction ha concluso che il carburante in questione utilizzato durante l’evento di fine stagione è conforme alle specifiche elencate nella “Sezione 1 – Standard di equipaggiamento generale, 1.10 Specifiche del carburante “.
Attraverso 9 round di corse, Sexton ha segnato 9 punti in più, da 218 a 209, rispetto a Shane McElrath di Monster Energy / Star / Yamaha Racing per guadagnare la sua seconda targa AMA Supercross 250SX East n1.

PICKERINGTON, Ohio—Following the Monster Energy AMA Supercross 250SX East/West Showdown Main Event on June 21 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, a protest regarding fuel was filed against the race winner, GEICO Honda team rider Chase Sexton.
After adhering to the Fuel Test Procedures stated in Appendix E of the 2020 AMA Supercross rulebook, Race Direction concluded that the fuel in question used at the season-ending event complies with the specifications listed in “Section 1 – General Equipment Standards, 1.10 Fuel Specifications.”
Across 9 rounds of racing, Sexton scored 9 more points, 218 to 209, than Monster Energy/Star/Yamaha Racing’s Shane McElrath to earn his second consecutive AMA Supercross 250SX East No. 1 plate.
The decision of Race Direction is final. Race results are official.
