MONACO (Principato di Monaco) 27 Aprile 2020 – Infront Moto Racing è spiacente di annunciare che a causa della globale pandemia COVID-19 2020 i Campionati Europei EMX65 e EMX85 vengono annullati.

Le finali dei campionati EMX65 e EMX85 sono stati fissati a prendere posto sul circuito di Loket in Repubblica Ceca, con molti dei più giovani talenti europei per un altro fantastico weekend di gare. Purtroppo, a causa della situazione mondiale attuale, questo non sarà possibile, nel 2020, come la maggior parte degli eventi EMX65 e EMX85 avrebbero dovuto eseguirsi in primavera / estate e non possono essere ri-programmati in autunno a causa del calendario scolastico.

Questo significa anche che il campionato europeo femminile (WEMX) non avrà luogo nel 2020.

Il Presidente della FIM Motocross dell’Europa Commissione, Eddie Mandria, ha aggiunto: E ‘stata una decisione difficile da prendere, ma credo fermamente che è quella corretta. La maggior parte dei EMX65 / 85 turni di zona e il WEMX sono già stati cancellati e non ci sarà alcuna certezza che le finali a Loket sarebbe andate avanti come previsto, quindi abbiamo dovuto considerare che c’era solo una piccola finestra per ri-programmare le Finali a causa delle vacanze scolastiche. Abbiamo anche dovuto prendere in considerazione l’impatto finanziario per le famiglie dei piloti, molti dei quali soffrono di una mancanza enorme di reddito a causa del blocco in molti paesi e questo avrebbe gravemente colpito il numero di iscritti. Credo che torneremo più forti nel 2021 ed offriremo la prima scelta dei turni di zona e il WEMX agli organizzatori di quest’anno come una priorità. Per il resto di questo anno, Infront Moto Racing e FIM Europa si concentrano sul EMX125, l’EMX250, EMX2T e le classi EMX Open non appena i viaggi per i piloti attraverso i confini saranno senza limiti.”

Infront Moto Racing insieme a FIM Europa non hanno preso questa decisione alla leggera, ma guardare avanti per un ancora e più grande campionato nel 2021. Preghiamo tutti voi e chiediamo una grande responsabilità per capire come tutti affrontiamo questo momento difficile.

MONACO (Principality of Monaco) 27 April 2020 – Infront Moto Racing regrets to announce that due to the global COVID-19 pandemic the 2020 European Championships EMX65 and EMX85 are cancelled.

The finals of the EMX65 and EMX85 championships were set to take place at the popular Loket circuit in Czech Republic, with many of the European youngest talents due to gather for another fantastic weekend of racing. Unfortunately, due to the current global situation, this will not be possible in 2020 as most of the EMX65 and EMX85 events were supposed to run in spring/summer and can not be re-scheduled in autumn due to the school calendar.

This also means that the Women’s European Championship (WEMX) will no longer take place in 2020 either.

The Chairman of FIM Europe Motocross Commission, Eddie Herd, added: It was a difficult decision to make but I firmly believe it is the correct one. Most of the EMX65/85 zone rounds and the WEMX rounds have already been cancelled and there will be no certainty that the Finals in Loket would go ahead as scheduled, thus we had to consider that there was only a small window to re-schedule the Finals because of school holidays. We also had to consider the financial impact for the families of the riders, many of whom are suffering a huge lack of income due to the lockdown in most countries and this would have severely affected the number of entries. I believe we will come back stronger in 2021 and we will offer the first choice of the zone rounds and the WEMX rounds to this year’s organisers as a priority. For the remainder of this year, Infront Moto Racing and the FIM Europe will concentrate on EMX125, the EMX250, EMX2T and the EMX Open classes as soon as travel for the riders across the borders and without restrictions will be possible.”

Infront Moto Racing along with FIM Europe have not taken this decision lightly but look forward to an even bigger and better championship in 2021. We kindly ask you all for a great deal of responsibility and understanding as we all tackle this difficult time.
