Un intervista tra il promotore de Mondiale Motocross e l’organizzatore del GP Argentino, uno di quei GP che tutti aspettano per la location, la pista e il tifo, ma mettiamoci anche l’orario di trasmissione per quanto riguarda l’Italia dove il fuso ti permetteva anche di farti il weekend libero per andare in moto o fare altro, bè, l’intervista fa trasparire la voglia di esserci e di fare una gara a Novembre, ovviamente tutti vorremmo che il 2020 sia in corso e che non ci si sia mai presentata la situazione virus, ma è surreale il tutto, come la riprogrammazione delle gare e del campionato stesso, nella speranza che il 2021 sia stipulato nello stesso modo e che magari arrivino aiuti dal promotore stesso per il numero di gare, trasferte e il Covid-19!

2020 MXGP dell’Argentina: intervista

Naturalmente, ogni anno negli ultimi sei anni il Campionato mondiale FIM Motocross si è diretto in Argentina per quello che molti descrivono come il miglior Grand Prix della stagione. Splendidi scenari, un circuito fantastico e un’enorme presenza di folla, l’evento organizzato nell’area della Patagonia è un punto culminante per tutti coloro che frequentano o guardano in televisione.

Luca De La Fuente è un uomo d’affari argentino che lavora con il team di promozione per il Grand Prix di Patagonia Argentina. C’è una cosa che è sicura al 100%, la comunità argentina è entusiasta di riavere i campionati del mondo FIM Motocross in Sud America e i promotori dell’evento faranno tutto il possibile per assicurarsi che sia di nuovo un’esperienza brillante per i locali appassionati fans.

“Non abbiamo mai parlato di annullarlo”, ha detto De La Fuente. “Abbiamo appena spostato la data, e non per colpa nostra, a causa di questo problema mondiale. L’idea è quella data, ma siamo molto flessibili a seconda della situazione e degli altri paesi. Tutte le persone nello sport devono essere pazienti e, a partire da Infront, che hanno molto lavoro da fare. Penso che quest’anno più che mai noi, piloti, squadre, Infront, dobbiamo essere tutti sulla stessa pagina. Dato che si tratta di una situazione mondiale, dobbiamo cercare di salvare la stagione “.

Con il loro tipico entusiasmo e passione per la corsa al miglior Gran Premio dell’anno, possiamo contare sul fatto che l’Argentina non solo organizza un brillante evento nel 2020, ma anche negli anni a venire. Un altro aspetto positivo è che l’evento è ora fissato per novembre, che è l’inizio del clima più mite, quindi senza dubbio l’intero paddock GP non vedrà l’ora di partire per un po ‘di sole e di t-shirt a metà novembre.

Beautiful scenery, an amazing circuit and a massive crowd attendance, the event run in the area of Patagonia is a highlight for everyone who attends or watches on television.

Luca De La Fuente is an Argentine businessman who works with the promotion team for the Grand Prix of Patagonia Argentina. There is one thing that is 100% sure, the Argentine community are excited to have the FIM Motocross World championships back in South America and the promoters of the event will do everything possible to make sure that it is again a brilliant experience for the passionate local fans.

“We never talked about cancelling it,” De La Fuente said. “We just moved the date, and not because of us, because of this worldwide problem. The idea is that date, but we are very flexible depending on the situation and the other countries. All the people in the sport need to be patient, and starting from Infront, who have a lot of work to do. I think this year more than ever us, riders, teams, Infront, we all have to be on the same page.  As this is a Worldwide situation we need to push together to try and save the season.”

With their typical enthusiasm and passion to run the best Grand Prix of the year, we can all count on Argentina not only running a brilliant event in 2020, but also in the future years. Another positive is the event is now set down for November, which is the start of the warmer weather, so without question the whole GP paddock will be looking forward to heading to some sunshine and t-shirt weather in the middle of November.

“November is the start of the good weather, similar to what we would have had if the race went ahead last month. We talked with Infront and they think the championship will go further into the year and then the idea of having it in November and we said if it is like that, okay, it is a nice time of the year here, so we are excited to have it at that time of the year.”

So now, as we await the return of the MXGP series in the coming months, we can also look forward to something a little special in the winter months, which is one of the positives from this very difficult time in the World.
