MONACO (Principato di Monaco), 23 gennaio 2020 – Youthstream è lieto di annunciare che la nuovissima sede di intu Xanadú ad Arroyomolinos (Comunidad de Madrid) ospiterà il MXGP della Spagna dal 18 al 19 aprile 2020!
Dopo una pausa di un anno dal calendario MXGP, il Gran Premio di Spagna è tornato e confermato come parte del campionato mondiale FIM Motocross per i prossimi tre anni. Nel 2020, la MXGP della Spagna si dirigerà verso la pista del pacco duro nell’intu Xanadú, situato a soli 22 km dal centro di Madrid.
Questa sarà la prima volta che l’MXGP atterrerà a Madrid e ciò è stato reso possibile grazie al sostegno offerto dalla Comunità di Madrid, dal Vice Ministero dello Sport, dalla Federazione spagnola di motociclette spagnola e dalla Federazione motociclistica di Madrid.
L’ultima volta che il Campionato mondiale FIM Motocross ha visitato la Spagna è stato nel 2018, tenutosi presso la famosa struttura di allenamento per molti piloti della MXGP, Red Sand, dove il GP era dominato da Antonio Cairoli in MXGP e l’eroe locale, Jorge Prado in MX2.
Il Gran Premio di Spagna del 2020 offrirà ai fan locali l’opportunità di celebrare per la prima volta il loro campione del mondo MX2 come debuttante MXGP in quanto ospiterà il quinto round della serie.
Al tempo della MXGP spagnola, Prado dovrebbe arrivare a Madrid completamente recuperato e fortemente motivato con il supporto dei suoi tifosi di casa. “Nel mio calendario è già indicato come una delle date più importanti dell’anno”, ha detto il giovane spagnolo.
Oltre alle classi MX2 e MXGP, la EMX125 e i piloti WMX si uniranno anche alle categorie principali per l’occasione, poiché i fan saranno trattati per un weekend pieno di azione.

MONACO (Principality of Monaco) 23rd January 2020 – Youthstream is very pleased to announce the brand-new venue of intu Xanadú in Arroyomolinos (Comunidad de Madrid) will host the MXGP of Spain on the 18th – 19th April 2020!
After a one-year break from the MXGP calendar, the Spanish Grand Prix is back and confirmed as part of the FIM Motocross World Championship for the next three years. In 2020, the MXGP of Spain will head to the hard pack track at intu Xanadú, located just 22 km from the centre of Madrid.
This will be the first time that the MXGP will land in Madrid and that has been made possible thanks to the support offered by the Community of Madrid, the Vice Ministry of Sports, the Royal Spanish Motorcycle Federation and the Madrid Motorcycle Federation.
The last time that the FIM Motocross World Championship visited Spain was in 2018, held at the popular training facility for many of the MXGP riders, Red Sand where the GP was dominated by Antonio Cairoli in MXGP and the local hero, Jorge Prado in MX2.
The 2020 Spanish Grand Prix will offer the opportunity for the local fans to celebrate their MX2 World Champion for the very first time as MXGP rookie as it will host the fifth round of the series.
By the time of the Spanish MXGP, Prado is expected to arrive in Madrid fully recovered and highly motivated with the support of his home fans. “In my calendar it is already marked as one of the most important dates of the year” said the young Spaniard.
Alongside the MX2 and MXGP classes, the EMX125 and the WMX riders will also be joining the premier categories for the occasion, as fans will be treated to an action-packed weekend.
