SHANGHAI (Cina) 12 Settembre 2019 – La fase finale della FIM Motocross World Championship 2019 si concluderà nella splendida città di Shanghai per la MXGP della Cina per la prima volta. Mentre una nuova pista è una grande sfida per i piloti MXGP e MX2, il circuito mezzo soft è pronto ed entusiasta ad ospitare il suo primo evento di classe mondiale.
Il 2019 MXGP stagione ha viaggiato in 18 diverse sedi quest’anno in tutto il mondo fornendo battaglie, le aspettative e le azioni intense ad ogni round. Il 2019 Champions del Team HRC Tim Gajser e Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Jorge Prado non hanno nulla da dimostrare in questo fine settimana in quanto hanno già i loro titoli MXGP e MX2 nelle tasche, ma le battaglie per chiudere i podi sono ancora aperte.

Mentre il Campionato 2019 MXGP si è concluso con il Team HRC Tim Gajser che prende il titolo ad Imola, il campo è ancora in lotta per le altre posizioni. Tuttavia, lo sloveno sarà lui ad essere in fila nella speranza di aggiungere la vittoria nel Gran Finale ai suoi nove successi, ha solo bisogno di aggiungere altri nove punti per il secondo posto, al fine di essere il campione più dominante nella storia motocross e un ritorno al podio come un must per il pilota HRC questo fine settimana dopo il suo 4° posto in Turchia.
Red Bull KTM Factory Jeffrey Herlings è tornato, ed è stato il protagonista della MXGP della Turchia essendo stato in grado di vincere il suo primo GP della stagione dopo aver recuperato da paio di lesioni importanti di quest’anno. Prestazione perfetta della scorsa settimana mostra l’olandese che andrà in MXGP della Cina e il Monster Energy FIM Motocross delle Nazioni, come un grande favorito per la vittoria assoluta.
Monster team Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP Jeremy Seewer tenterà l’ MXGP della Cina con 542 punti in classifica, dopo un GP dolce-amaro in Turchia dove è stato in grado di finire 7°, lo svizzero in Cina ha la velocità dalla sua parte e pieno di aspettative per tornare sul podio MXGP.
Glenn Coldenhoff ha potenziato la sua fiducia che va 1-1-2 per gli ultimi tre Gran Premi e si può scommettere che spingerà duro al MXGP della Cina guardando al terzo posto nei punti di campionato MXGP mentre Monster Energy Yamaha ufficiale Wilvo di MXGP Gautier Paulin detiene attualmente quella posizione. Paulin, che è in realtà la sensazione impressionante recente, ha 499 punti mentre Coldenhoff 488, quindi sarà interessante vedere chi esce da quella battaglia con la terza posizione.
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory di Pauls Jonass è in buona forma e vorrà esibirsi al suo meglio in Cina. Il lettone ha finito terzo assoluto al MXGP della Turchia a raggiungere il suo terzo podio della stagione.
Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team Tommy Searle è stato costretto a ritirarsi dalla MXGP della Turchia a causa di una caduta durante il warm up che gli ha causato una contusione alla spalla. Dopo ulteriori esami Searle potrebbe essere di nuovo al GP della Cina.
Nella classe MX2 Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Jorge Prado è il favorito per vincere il prossimo fine settimana e segnare la sua vittoria 31 nei GP, mentre le battaglie per il podio e classifica campionato è ancora aperta.
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Thomas Kjer Olsen è sicuro di finire secondo in campionato MX2, ma a causa di intossicazione alimentare non ha potuto correre al suo miglior livello in Turchia lo scorso fine settimana e vorrà chiudere la stagione con un risultato migliore .
Terzo in campionato è Monster Energy Kemea Yamaha MX2 Jago Geerts che ha mancato la sua solita velocità nelle ultime settimane e va alla fase finale con una forte motivazione per tornare sul podio come ha fatto in Turchia la scorsa settimana.
In lotta per la terza posizione in classifica è Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Tom Vialle che si trova a soli 10 punti dietro Geerts. Si può scommettere che sarà lui a spingere al massimo questo fine settimana con buone partenze e la fiducia dalla sua parte.
Di F & H Kawasaki Racing Roan Van De Moosdijk raccolse il suo primo MX2 podio lo scorso fine settimana in Turchia, e ha fatto una dichiarazione per essere selezionato dal Team Paesi Bassi per la Monster Energy FIM MXoN, state sicuri che vorrà ripetere le sue prestazioni questo fine settimana.
Del Team HRC Calvin Vlaanderen, si augura di fare il suo quarto podio della stagione, dopo aver mancato il podio al MXGP della Turchia solo per 1 punto, finisce 6° legato nei punti con Vialle.
Un altro pilota da guardare è sicuramente Maxime Renaux che ha fatto il suo primo podio MX2 al MXGP d’Italia ed è arrivato quarto in Turchia legato nei punti con Van De Moosdijk.
Questo fine settimana la classe MX2 ha il terzo classificato WMX, Larissa Papenmeier tra le presenze. La tedesca non vede l’ora di entrare in questa esperienza in Cina dopo un amara fase finale del WMX a causa di infortuni.

MXGP Final Round heads to Shanghai
SHANGHAI (China) 12 September 2019 – The Final round of the 2019 FIM Motocross World Championship will conclude in the magnificent city of Shanghai for the MXGP of China for the very first time. While a new track on its own is a big challenge for MXGP and MX2 riders, the medium soft circuit is ready and excited to host its very first world class event.
The 2019 MXGP season has travelled to 18 different venues this year around the world providing hype, expectations and intense actions at each round. The 2019 Champions Team HRC’s Tim Gajser and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jorge Prado have nothing to prove this weekend as they have already their MXGP and MX2 titles in the pockets but the battles to round up the Championships podiums are still open.
While the 2019 MXGP Championship title chase concluded with Team HRC’s Tim Gajser taking the title in Imola, the field is still open battling for other positions. However the Slovenian he’ll be lining up hoping to add the Grand Finale victory to his nine overalls, besides he only needs to add nine more points to the second placed in order to be the most dominant champion in motocross history and a return to the podium is like a must for the HRC rider this weekend after his 4th place in Turkey.
Red Bull KTM Factory’s Jeffrey Herlings is back, he was the protagonist of the MXGP of Turkey being able to win his first GP of the season after recovering from couple of major injuries this year. Last weekend’s perfect performance shows the Dutchman will go into the MXGP of China and the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations as a big favourite for the overall win.
Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP team’s Jeremy Seewer will attempt the MXGP of China with 542 point on the standings, after a bitter-sweet GP in Turkey where he was able to finish 7th, the Swiss is going to China with the speed on his side and full of expectations to return on MXGP Podium.
Standing Construct KTM team’s Glenn Coldenhoff boosted his confidence going 1-1-2 for the last three Grand Prix and you can bet he will push hard at the MXGP of China looking at the third place on the MXGP championship points while Monster Energy Wilvo Yamaha Official MXGP’s Gautier Paulin currently holds down that position. Paulin, who is actually feeling awesome recently, has 499 points while Coldenhoff 488, so it will be interesting to see who comes out of that battle with the third position.
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Pauls Jonass is also in good form and will want to perform at his best in China. The Latvian finished third overall at the MXGP of Turkey reaching his third podium of the season.
Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team’s Tommy Searle was forced to withdraw from the MXGP of Turkey due to a crash during the warm up which caused him a shoulder contusion. After further examinations Searle might be back at the MXGP of China.

In the MX2 class Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jorge Prado is the favourite to win this coming weekend and score his 31 GP win while the battles for the GP podium and Championship standings is still wide open.
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team’sThomas Kjer Olsen is secure to finish second in the MX2 championship, but due to food poisoning sickness couldn’t race to his best level in Turkey last weekend and will want to end his season with a better result.
Third in the Championship is Monster Energy Kemea Yamaha Official MX2’s Jago Geerts who has lacked his usual speed in recent weeks and goes to the final round with a strong motivation to get back on the podium as he did in Turkey the past week.
Battling for the third position in the standings is Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jorge Prado Tom Vialle who is just 10 points behind Geerts. You can bet he’ll push hard this weekend with good starts and confidence on his side.
F&H Kawasaki Racing’s Roan Van De Moosdijk picked up his first ever MX2 podium last weekend in Turkey, and made a statement for being selected by Team Netherlands for the Monster Energy FIM MXoN indeed, be sure he wishes to repeat his Turkish performances this weekend.
Team HRC’s Calvin Vlaanderen, is hoping to make its fourth podium of the season, after he missed the podium at the MXGP of Turkey only for 1 point finishing 6th tied in points with Vialle.
Another rider to watch out recently is surely Team SM Action Yamaha team’s Maxime Renaux who made his first MX2 Podium at the MXGP of Italy and arrived fourth in Turkey tied in points with Van De Moosdijk.
This weekend the MX2 class also has the third WMX classified, Larissa Papenmeier among the entries. The German is looking forward to joining this experience in China after a bitter sweet final round of WMX due to sickness.
