MXGP della Lettonia ribadisce l’impegno con il Campionato mondiale FIM Motocross

Monaco (Principato di Monaco) 3 settembre 2019 – Youthstream è molto lieto di annunciare che la Lettonia continuerà a far parte del calendario dei campionati mondiali di Motocross FIM fino al 2023.

Dopo il successo del MXGP 2019 della Lettonia, l’organizzatore locale e la Federazione lettone hanno recentemente esteso il loro accordo pluriennale con Youthstream per garantire che l’MXGP della Lettonia occuperà un posto nel calendario del campionato mondiale FIM Motocross fino al 2023 incluso. Il rinnovato accordo mostra non solo l’eccezionale cooperazione tra Youthstream, gli organizzatori locali, la Federazione lettone motociclistica e il governo lettone, ma rientra anche nel crescente interesse della Lettonia per il Motocross. Ogni anno nascono più giovani talenti del motocross e più fan seguono il nostro sport emozionante.

Inoltre, eroi locali come l’ex campione del mondo MX2 Pauls Jonass, che è già arrivato due volte sul podio MXGP nella sua stagione da principiante e la stella nascente del 2019 Edvards Bidzans, che è stato incoronato campione EMX85 lo scorso luglio 2019, stanno giocando un ruolo importante per attirare nuovi fan e media importanti come Channel Sports Baltic e Play Sport + che trasmettono in diretta la serie MXGP in questa stagione.

Il Campionato mondiale FIM Motocross ha fatto il suo debutto in Lettonia nel 2009 e Kegums è stato in calendario ogni anno, tra cui un Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations di successo tenutosi nel 2014. Con una tale esperienza nell’organizzazione di eventi MXGP e MXoN, questo nuovo accordo rappresenta un culmine della partnership tra tutte le parti.

Il campionato mondiale MXGP riceve ogni anno più richieste da tutto il mondo per ospitare un Grand Prix. La pista di Kegums è in calendario da molti anni ed è molto apprezzata dal paddock MXGP. Abbiamo sviluppato un ottimo rapporto con la Federazione lettone di motociclisti e il Motocross è fortemente supportato dalle autorità nazionali. Infine, voglio ringraziare Kristers Sergis, l’organizzatore, con tutto il suo team per la qualità dell’organizzazione e l’ottima relazione che abbiamo ”.

La pista naturale di Kegums attira ogni anno sempre più fan dai paesi baltici e dal resto d’Europa. Organizzare questo evento è anche essenziale per lo sviluppo del nostro sport nei Paesi Baltici, poiché le nostre star del motocross devono seguire. ”

L’organizzatore locale della MXGP della Lettonia Kristers Sergis: “Sono orgoglioso e felice che Youthstream apprezzi il nostro investimento nel processo organizzativo della MXGP della Lettonia, che stiamo cercando di migliorare ogni anno. L’intera squadra si sente molto fortunata ad aver avuto l’opportunità di prolungare il contratto fino al 2023. Monaco (Principality of Monaco) 3 September 2019 – Youthstream is very pleased to announce that Latvia will continue to be part of the FIM Motocross World Championship calendar until 2023.  

After the success of the 2019 MXGP of Latvia, the local Organizer and the Latvian Federation have recently extended their multi-year agreement with Youthstream to ensure the MXGP of Latvia will have a place on the FIM Motocross World Championship Calendar until the 2023 included. The renewed agreement shows not only the outstanding cooperation among Youthstream, the local organizers, the Latvian Motorcycle Federation and the Latvian Government, but it also comes as part of a rising interest in Latvia for Motocross. Every year there are more young motocross talents arising and more fans are following our thrilling sport. 

Besides, local heroes such as former MX2 World champion Pauls Jonass, who has finished already twice on the MXGP podium in his rookie season and 2019 rising star Edvards Bidzans, who was crowned EMX85 Champion last July 2019, are playing an important role to attract new fans and important media such as Channel Sports Baltic and Play Sport+ that are broadcasting the MXGP series LIVE this season. 

The FIM Motocross World Championship made his debut in Latvia in 2009 and Kegums has been in the calendar every year including a successful Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations held in 2014. With such an experience in organizing MXGP and MXoN events, this new agreement represents a culmination of partnership among all the parties.
