Brian Bogers to miss MXGP of Sweden
Purtroppo Brian Bogers del Team HRC non si schiererà al MXGP della Svezia a causa di un infortunio alla spalla destra subito a Imola lo scorso fine settimana.
Il pilota olandese è stato coinvolto in un incidente da un altro pilota nella seconda manche del MXGP d’Italia ed è caduto goffamente sul suo giunto AC, costringendolo a ritirarsi. Dopo aver visto uno specialista lunedì in Belgio, il medico gli ha ordinato di provare a riposare per essere pronto per Uddevalla, ma sfortunatamente non c’è stato abbastanza tempo e Bogers non sarà in grado di correre nel fine settimana.
È una grande delusione per il pilota Honda CRF450RW che finora aveva avuto un record di presenze del 100% nella stagione MXGP 2019 e sperava di terminare fortemente la stagione.
Brian ora sembrerà pronto per il prossimo round in Turchia, dal 7 all’8 settembre, che è il penultimo round del campionato mondiale di motocross.

Ovviamente è un peccato perdere il GP di Svezia questo fine settimana. Ho fatto del mio meglio per essere pronto, assicurandomi di riposare il più possibile, ma non è guarito in tempo per poter correre a livello MXGP. Oggi ho guidato (giovedì), solo per vedere se era abbastanza buono, ma dopo alcuni giri sapevo che domenica non avrei potuto correre. Il mio obiettivo ora è tornare pienamente in salute per il round successivo in Turchia, dove voglio davvero mostrare a tutti di nuovo ciò di cui sono capace.

Unfortunately Team HRC’s Brian Bogers will not be lining up at the MXGP of Sweden due to a right-shoulder injury sustained at Imola last weekend.
The Dutch rider was collected up in a crash by another rider in the second moto at the MXGP of Italy and fell awkwardly on his AC joint, forcing him to pull out race. After seeing a specialist on Monday in Belgium, the doctor ordered him to try and rest in order to be ready for Uddevalla but unfortunately there hasn’t been enough time and Bogers will be unable to race at the weekend.
It is a big disappointment for the Honda CRF450RW rider who had had a 100% attendance record so far in the 2019 MXGP season, and was hoping to end the season strongly.
Bogers will now look to be ready for the next round in Turkey on September 7-8 which is the penultimate round of the world motocross championship.

Obviously it is a big shame to be missing the Swedish GP this weekend. I tried my best to be ready for it, making sure to rest as much as possible but it just hasn’t healed in time to be able to race at MXGP level. I rode today (on Thursday), just to see if it was good enough but I knew after a few laps that I wouldn’t be able to race on Sunday. My aim now is to get back fully healthy for the following round in Turkey where I really want to show everyone again what I am capable of.
