UDDEVALLA (Svezia) 21 agosto 2019 – La FIM Motocross World Championship si sta preparando per la 16° tappa della stagione ad Uddevalla come MXGP di Svezia fa il suo ritorno dopo la rottura di un anno, ora nel 2019 Calendario. Uddevalla e le sue colline rocciose naturali hanno una lunga storia in MXGP e nel Motocross, in generale, con il primo campionato del mondo di motocross ospitato nel 1958.
Squadra HRC Tim Gajser ha segnato il suo terzo titolo FIM Motocross World Championship a Imola la scorsa settimana ed è in realtà il suo 4° titolo mondiale se consideriamo che ha vinto la il titolo 125cc Junior Motocross mondiale nel 2012, ma sembrava pompato a continuare le sue battaglie MXGP fino all’ultimo momento della serie, mentre nella classe MX2, è molto probabile che il campione in carica MX2 Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Jorge Prado segnerà il suo secondo campionato MX2 consecutiva sul tracciato duro di Uddevalla.
Non sarà solo Prado che gareggeranno per il piatto d’oro di questo fine settimana come l’EMX250 e EMX125 che aderiscono al MXGP e le classi MX2, l’EMX250 e EMX125 con i campioni che saranno incoronato questo fine settimana.
In EMX250 è di F & H Racing Kawasaki Roan van de Moosdijk che guida il campionato con 11 punti su Honda Assomotor Stefano Rubini, e con Maddii Husqvarna Alberto Forato 13 punti dietro Van De Moosdijk, e con tre piloti del quadro in campionato, qualunque cosa accada in Svezia, si passerà sul filo.
Nel EMX125 di WZ-Racing Simon Laengenfelder ha segnato 2-1 risultati per vincere la complessiva nell’ultimo turno a Lommel, davanti al leader della classifica Mattia Guadagnini e del Team VRT Tom Guyon, tuttavia Guadagnini è in testa al campionato di 20 punti e potrebbe essere incoronato Domenica mattina EMX125 in Svezia.

Nella classe MXGP Team HRC Tim Gajser ha nulla da dimostrare dopo aver vinto il suo 2019 MXGP titolo tre GP prima della fine della stagione, ma ha ammesso che non ha intenzione di rilassarsi ma soprattutto in Svezia, che è una pista che si adatta molto bene dopo la sua vittoria nel 2015 in MX2 e nel 2017 in MXGP all’ultima occasione in cui ha visitato Uddevalla.
La scorsa settimana il vincitore GP Standing Construct KTM Glenn Coldenhoff è andato 1-1 in Italia e ha raggiunto la top 5 a Uddevalla nel 2017, mentre la seconda posizione di campionato, Monster team Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP Jeremy Seewer sembra entusiasta di tornare in pista nella vecchia scuola di Uddevalla, la stessa pista dove ha avuto un buon ricordo vincendo il 2017 GP di Svezia in classe MX2. Entrambi questi ragazzi sono in gran forma e si aspettano loro di spingere il nuovo campione del mondo MXGP al limite.
Standing Construct KTM Max Anstie aveva un po ‘di esami a Imola dopo aver sentito dolore mentre era in lotta tra i primi cinque in gara di qualifica, è stato costretto a saltare le fasi finali del MXGP stagione 2019 a causa di una clavicola lussata dal suo incidente in Lommel e di un problema ai polmoni di cui ha scoperto ad Imola dopo ulteriori controlli.
Da segnalare il rientro di Jeffrey Herlings proprio a Uddevalla per prendere il ritmo gara, come annuncia lui nel comunicato (Che trovate qui sotto) è molto interessato al risultato del Nazioni che si correrà a casa sua!

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Jorge Prado è in fila per prendere il suo secondo campionato MX2 da Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing ‘s Thomas Kjer Olsen. Il pilota spagnolo è stato incredibile nel 2019, e la sua stagione verrà ricordata come una delle grandi di tutti i tempi nella storia dello sport, mentre Olsen è tornato sul podio di Imola dopo un fine settimana difficile in Belgio e lui è appassionato di spingere al massimo questo fine settimana. Prado è stato secondo nel 2017 a Uddevalla dopo aver vinto gara 1, mentre Olsen è arrivato 6 °.
Il terzo posto in campionato è tornato al Monster Energy Kemea Yamaha ufficiale di MX2 Jago Geerts e lui ha un punto di vantaggio a portata di mano nel corso del quarto uomo che è F & H Kawasaki Racing Henry Jacobi, quei due saranno pronti per i risultati da podio, mentre il compagno di squadra Monster Energy Kemea Yamaha ufficiale di MX2 Ben Watson è costretto a stare fuori dalle gare a causa di un infortunio al polso.
Del Team HRC Calvin Vlaanderen, che è stato coerente dopo il suo ritorno da un infortunio, è alla ricerca di un podio in Svezia dopo le sue esibizioni solide.
Yamaha SM Action Maxime Renaux, che è in 7° nei punti campionato, ha avuto il suo primo podio a Imola e lui è una persona a cui fare attenzione nella pista svedese.

MXGP set for Sweden!
UDDEVALLA (Sweden) 21 August, 2019 – The FIM Motocross World Championship is gearing up for the 16th stop of the season in Uddevalla as the MXGP of Sweden makes a return to the 2019 Calendar after 1 year break. Uddevalla and its natural rocky hills have a long history in MXGP and in Motocross in general with the first Motocross World Championship being hosted in 1958.
Team HRC Tim Gajser scored his third FIM Motocross World Championship title in Imola last week and it’s actually his 4th World title if we consider he won the 125cc Junior Motocross World Title in 2012, but looked pumped to continue his MXGP battles until the very last moment of the series, while in MX2 class, it is very possible that defending MX2 champion Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jorge Prado will score his second consecutive MX2 championship on the hard pack track of Uddevalla.
It won’t just be Prado who will compete for the gold plate this weekend as the EMX250 and EMX125 championships will join the MXGP and MX2 classes and the EMX250 and EMX125 champions will also be crowned this weekend.
In EMX250 it is F&H Racing Kawasaki’s Roan van de Moosdijk who leads the championship by 11 points to Honda Redmoto Assomotor’s Stephen Rubini, with Maddii Racing Husqvarna’s Alberto Forato 13 points behind Van De Moosdijk, and with three riders in the championship picture, whatever happens in Sweden, it will go down to the wire.
In the EMX125 presented by FMF Racing, WZ-Racing’s Simon Laengenfelder scored 2-1 results to win the overall in the last round in Lommel, ahead of series leader Maddii Racing Husqvarna’s Mattia Guadagnini and Team VRT’s Tom Guyon, however Guadagnini is leading the championship by 20 points and might be crowned EMX125 champion come Sunday morning in Sweden.
In the MXGP class Team HRC’s Tim Gajser has nothing to prove after he won his 2019 MXGP title three GPs before the end of the season but he admitted he’ll not plan to relax yet especially in Sweden, which is a track he fits very well after his win in 2015 in MX2 and in 2017 in MXGP at the last occasion MXGP visited Uddevalla.
Last week GP winner Standing Construct KTM’s Glenn Coldenhoff went 1-1 in Italy and reached the top 5 in Uddevalla in 2017 while Championship’s second position, Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP team’s Jeremy Seewer looks excited to go back to the old school track of Uddevalla, the same track where he had good memories winning the 2017 GP of Sweden in MX2 class. Both these guys are in great form and expect them to push the new World MXGP champion to the limit.
Second and third overall at the 2017 MXGP of Sweden were Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP team’s Romain Febvre and Monster Energy Wilvo Yamaha Official MXGP’s Gautier Paulin. Febvre, who won the MXGP of Sweden in 2015, is still leading the TAG HEUER fastest lap competition but he is only placed 7th at championship standings while Paulin who’s third in the series 41 points behind Seewer is gearing up to be back on the box in a track where he always performed very well with a podium finish in MXGP and three podium finished in MX2.
21 point behind Paulin is his teammate Monster Energy Wilvo Yamaha Official MXGP’s Arnaud Tonus who is looking forward to catch up this weekend after quite a frustrating GP in Imola.
Naming who are up front recently, we can not avoid the two Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing riders of Arminas Jasikonis and Pauls Jonass, who are 6th and 9th in the points respectively. Last time Jonass was in Sweden it was third on the podium in MX2 and we might experience the same battles up front between the Latvian and Seewer this year but in MXGP class, Jonass managed to finish 5th in Imola last weekend.
Standing Construct KTM’s Max Anstie had some further examination in Imola after he felt pain while he was battling in the Top five in qualifying race, he’ forced to sit out the final rounds of the 2019 MXGP season due to a dislocated collarbone since his crash in Lommel and a lung issue he discovered in Imola after additional checks.

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jorge Prado is lining up to grab his second MX2 championship from Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing‘s Thomas Kjer Olsen. The Spanish rider has been amazing in 2019, and his season will go down as one of the all-time greats in the sports history while Olsen was back on the box in Imola after a difficult weekend in Belgium and he is keen on pushing hard this weekend. Prado was second in 2017 in Uddevalla after winning the race 1 while Olsen arrived 6th.
Third place in the championship is back to Monster Energy Kemea Yamaha Official MX2’s Jago Geerts and he has a handy point lead over fourth placed man F&H Kawasaki Racing’s Henry Jacobi, those two will be keen for podium results while Monster Energy Kemea Yamaha Official MX2’s teammate Ben Watson is forced out of the races due to a wrist injury.
Team HRC’s Calvin Vlaanderen, who has been consistent since his return from injury, is looking for a podium in Sweden after his solid performances whilw Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Tom Vialle is just a handful of points away from Jacobi for fourth place in the championship; he did not have his best GP in Imola after a two-DNF result but he is attempting the Uddevalla circuit for the first time with the goal to move closer to the top three season finish.
Yamaha SM Action’s Maxime Renaux, who is sitting in 7th in the points, had his first MX2 Podium finish in Imola and he is someone to watch out rolling at the Swedish track.
