Un altro weekend di gare, Il 10° appuntamento sulla pista di Germania a Teutschenthal, l’assenza di Tony Cairoli vede allontanarsi dalla leadership un Tim Gajser perfetto e vincere l’assoluta del 5’ GP di fila, ora a più 83 e si va verso una piccola pausa nel prossimo weekend. RIDERS PODIO MXGP
Tim Gajser: Questo weekend mi sono divertito a correre in pista. È stato un circuito molto tecnico con profondi solchi che ha reso la selezione della linea davvero importante. Sono anche molto felice di prendere l’ holeshot in entrambe le gare, così come la qualifica di ieri, perché non siamo stati in grado di farlo nella prima parte della stagione, ma ora stiamo ottenendo il perfetto salto fuori dal cancello. Nella prima manche ho fatto un piccolo errore ma ero ancora in grado di riprendere la moto e montare nuovamente come leader, quindi è andato tutto bene. Poi nella seconda gara, non volevo spingere troppo. Ho tirato fuori un vantaggio di circa cinque secondi e poi l’ho mantenuto perché la pista era un po ‘approssimativa in quella seconda manche. Le ombre e il sole erano piuttosto bassi e questo ha causato problemi su alcune parti della pista. Comunque nel complesso sono molto felice di aver vinto un altro GP ed estendere il mio vantaggio nel campionato MXGP. Mi sento davvero felice di come ho guidato e di come tutto il Team HRC sta lavorando insieme.
Arnaud Tonus: “”Questo fine settimana è stato un po ‘più impegnativo perché sabato ho avuto una dura gara di qualifica, quindi ero abbastanza avanti e ho dovuto scavare in profondità andando alla prima curva, ma sono riuscito a essere tra i primi cinque in entrambe Ho avuto una bella battaglia con i piloti Yamaha nella prima gara, ma sono riuscito a superare Jeremy all’ultimo giro quando ha commesso un errore, e poi ho fatto un’altra buona gara in Gara 2 e sono riuscito a finire sul podio per la quinta volta è stato fantastico avere Gautier sul podio con me, abbiamo una grande atmosfera all’interno della squadra e questo è un momento molto speciale per noi e per il team, sono molto felice per lui “.
Gautier Paulin: “Non posso ringraziare abbastanza il team Monster Energy Wilvo Yamaha MXGP. Nelle scorse settimane è stato difficile per me, sono uscito dal podio, ho avuto un grosso incidente in Portogallo e poi sono stato sfortunato in Francia, idem lo scorso fine settimana in Lettonia, mi sentivo più come disorientato, non raggiungevo i punti che volevo, ma la sensazione era lì ed è stato un buon allenamento. E ‘stato difficile, ho dovuto lottare duramente per questo, ma so bene come comportarmi in tutta la mia carriera, niente viene gratis, così ho combattuto e ora sono qui e mi sento benissimo. ”

Jorge Prado: “”E ‘stato un altro buon fine settimana e sono contento perché ho faticato un po’ ieri. Mi sentivo meglio nella seconda manche, su una pista che era tutt’altro che facile, perché era difficile ottenere un flusso. Era abbastanza per fare il lavoro oggi. Abbiamo avuto molte gare recentemente, ma tornerò a casa in questa piccola pausa e continuerò ad allenarmi. Il mio obiettivo in questa stagione è continuare a migliorare “.
Tom Vialle: “”Un buon fine settimana per me e un buon GP perché ieri(Sabato n.d.r.) non ho avuto un buon feeling con la moto. Oggi ho avuto due solide partenze e gare. La pista era molto dura: non era così veloce ma con profondi solchi e mi piaceva. Ho seguito passo dopo passo la mia fiducia e mi sento bene quest’anno e sono davvero felice. ”
Mathys Boisrame: “”Fine settima da incorniciare, la pista era favorevole per me, gare fenomenali e primo podio nel mondiale, questo risultato ci entusiasma e ci spinge ad andare avanti e continuare a lavorare come abbiamo fatto fino ad ora, ci ripaga per tutti gli sforzi che stiamo facendo. Vorrei ringraziare Honda che ha creduto nel nostro team.”
OTHER RIDERS
Brian Bogers: Oggi è andata piuttosto bene, mi sono sentito a mio agio quasi tutto il giorno e anche le partenze non sono andate male. Nella prima gara ho iniziato intorno al 15 ° e sono riuscito a passare direttamente al 10 ° posto. Ho fatto un paio di passaggi e sono stato ottavo per la maggior parte della gara, prima che un piccolo errore verso la fine della gara mi ha portato al nono posto. È tra i primi 10 ed è lì che voglio essere, quindi sono contento di questo. La seconda manche non mi è mai sembrata felice e non sono riuscito a trovare un buon ritmo. Ero in decima posizione all’inizio e poi ho perso un paio di posizioni, ma sono finito all’11 ° posto, il che non era poi così male ma, comunque, ho pensato che avrei potuto fare meglio. Sfortunatamente ciò significa che sono stato 11 ° assoluto, che è comunque appena fuori da dove voglio essere, ma nel complesso è stato un fine settimana decente.
Jeremy Seewer: “”Ho avuto un weekend davvero molto buono, ora sto iniziando a riprendere il flusso dal Time Practice, ho perso il podio di 1 punto anche con un incidente in Gara 2, ma mi sentivo bene tutto il weekend. nella top-five e nella top-3 per tutto il weekend. Sono caduto in Gara 2 e ho lottato molto duramente per tornare indietro nel gruppo molto velocemente, cosa che richiede molta energia specialmente su una pista dura come questa. Ho preso buoni punti che sono l’obiettivo alla fine della giornata, voglio solo continuare a raccogliere punti e andare avanti “.
Pauls Jonass: “Sono molto contento di finire come secondo classificato nella seconda manche, ma anche un po ‘deluso da me stesso e dalla squadra che mi sono perso terzo in classifica per un solo punto. Sono state due moto molto diverse per me questo fine settimana. La prima gara è stata dura perché ho avuto le braccia dure. Non sono sicuro di aver spinto troppo forte dopo una partenza decente, ma ho perso il ritmo e sono andato indietro per la maggior parte della gara fino al 10 ° posto. La mia velocità era buona negli ultimi 10 minuti, ma era troppo tardi. La seconda manche è stata grandiosa, davvero importante per me dimostrare di avere la velocità per essere in testa per una gara completa. Ho seguito Gajser per un po ‘e sono riuscito a recuperare un margine oltre il terzo e poi sono rimasto costante e sono rimasto lì per tutta la gara. RIDERS PODIO MXGP
Tim Gajser: I was enjoying riding on the track this weekend. It was a really technical circuit with deep ruts which made line selection really important. I’m also really happy to take the holeshot in both races, as well as the qualifier yesterday, because we weren’t able to do that in the early part of the season but now we are getting the perfect jump out of the gate. In the first moto I did make a little mistake but I was still able to pick up the bike and remount as the leader, so that went okay. Then in the second race, I didn’t want to push too hard. I pulled out a lead of about five seconds and then kept it smooth because the track was a little sketchy in that second moto. The shadows and the sun was quite low which caused problems on certain parts of the track. However overall I’m very happy to win another overall and to extend my lead in the MXGP championship. I’m feeling really happy with how I rode and how the whole of Team HRC is working together.
Arnaud Tonus: “”This weekend was a bit more challenging because I had a tough qualifying race yesterday, so I was pretty far out on the start and I had to dig deep going into the first corner, but I managed to be inside the top-five in both races. I had a good battle with the Yamaha riders in the first race, but I managed to pass Jeremy on the last lap when he made a mistake, and then I had another good race in Race 2 and was able to finish on the box for a fifth time. It was also amazing to have Gautier up on the podium with me. We have a great atmosphere inside the team, and this is a very special moment for us and the team. I am super happy for him.”
Gautier Paulin: “I can’t thank the Monster Energy Wilvo Yamaha MXGP Team enough. For the past few weeks it has been tough for me, I have been off the podium. I had a big crash in Portugal and then was unlucky in France and then met the ground again in Russia. Last weekend in Latvia, I felt more like myself, but I didn’t reach the points I wanted to, but the feeling was there and it was a good training. It was tough, I had to fight hard for this one, but I know and have known my entire career that nothing comes for free, so I fought and now I am here and it feels great.”

Jorge Prado: “It was another good weekend and I’m happy because I was struggling a bit yesterday. I felt better in the second moto, on a track that was far from easy, because it was tough to get a flow. It was enough to get the job done today. We’ve had a lot of races recently but I will go back home in this small break and keep training. My goal this season is to keep improving.”
Tom Vialle: “A really good weekend for me and a good turnaround because I didn’t have a great feeling on the bike yesterday. Today I had two solid starts and races. The track was very hard: it wasn’t so fast but with really deep ruts and I liked it. I have been going step-by-step with my confidence and feeling this year and I’m really happy.”

Pauls Jonass: “I’m super pleased to finish as runner-up in the second moto, but also a little disappointed for myself and the team that I missed third overall by just one point. It was two very different motos for me this weekend. The first race was tough because I got arm pump. I’m not sure if I pushed too hard after a decent start, but I lost my rhythm and went backwards for most of the race to finish 10th. My speed was good during the last 10 minutes, but it was too late then. The second moto was great, really important for me to show I have the speed to be up front for a full race. I followed Gajser for a while and managed to pull a gap over third and then just stayed consistent and stayed there all race. One point from the podium is frustrating but the result is really important ahead of the fly-away races that are coming up next.”
Arminas Jasikonis: “It’s bee another frustrating race day where I haven’t managed to show my qualifying speed. The rider next to me moved at the start in the first race and I went too early and hit the gate. Then I crashed in the third turn, so I was dead last. I pushed hard to come back to 12th, but it wasn’t where I wanted to be at all. The second race was better but again not what we were hoping for. I’ll re-group now and prepare for Indonesia.”
Julien Lieber: “« The weekend started well but didn’t finish so well! I got a great start in the first moto and I had a good feeling and good lines on the track; I found a spot to pass Seewer for the second position and my rhythm was so good that I made a little gap on him. I wasn’t pushing so hard and at the bottom of the big hill I always took a line on the left of the track as it wasn’t so bumpy there. I don’t understand what happened; it was a huge crash and I’m so disappointed to finish the weekend like that.”
Tommy Searle: “
Jeremy Seewer: “”I had a really really good weekend. Now I am starting to pick up the flow right from the Time Practice. I missed the podium by 1-point even with a crash in Race 2, but I felt good all weekend. I was up there in the top-five and top-three all weekend. I fell in Race 2 and I fought really hard to come back through the pack really quick which takes a lot of energy especially on a tough track like this. I am happy with everything; I took good points which is the goal at the end of the day. I just want to keep collecting points and moving forward.”
Vsevolod Brylyakov: “”It was a very challenging and difficult track this weekend! I was nineteenth and seventeenth place in races one and two for eighteenth overall. Obviously, I am far from being happy about my riding and the results show that too! I am still searching for a better and more comfortable feeling, but there are also so many positive things…After a tough two years, where I did not even hit a mid-season mark with huge injuries, I am here, racing, building my confidence from race-to-race and have highlights of speed. Now we will have a break with MXGP, as we are not going to Indonesia, and next for us will be the Czech Republic. I have time for a little break to regroup and put work in to get myself better and stronger for the upcoming MXGP rounds.”
Anton Gole: “This weekend was a big step in the right direction. I made two small crashes in the qualifying race, but today was a great day. I had two good starts and two solid motos. Today I battled inside the top fifteen in both motos and I feel like I belong there, so that was just awesome.”
Brian Bogers: It actually went pretty good today, I felt comfortable most of the day and even the starts went not too bad. In the first race I started around 15th and was able to move directly into around 10th place. I made a couple of passes and I was in eighth for most of the race before a small mistake near the end of the race dropped me to ninth. It’s in the top 10 and that’s where I want to be so I’m happy with that. The second moto I never felt happy and I couldn’t find a good rhythm. I was around 10th in the start and then dropped a couple of spots but I ended up 11th, which wasn’t too bad but still, I felt I could have done better. Unfortunately that meant I was 11th overall which is still just outside where I want to be, but overall it was a decent weekend.
