7° round del campionato Supercross, un altro spettacolo ad Arlington, tracciato difficile a causa dello spazio, quindi pista estremamente difficile nei sorpassi ma alcuni piloti sono riusciti a fare la differenza!!! Un vincitore che conferma e impensierisce gli avversari per la stagione 2019, Cooper Webb riprende la tabella rossa e lo fa di prepotenza (si fa per dire) arrivando sul finish line vincendo contro Ken Roczen, il campionato rimane bello attivo e vivo, ma ………. qualcuno cerca di prendere il largo. Cooper Webb: “Stasera è stato incredibile! Non mi sono mai fermato lì fuori. È stato incredibile arrivare all’ultimo giro – anche l’ultima curva – e riuscire a vincere con un finale così vicino era assolutamente folle. Questa è probabilmente la miglior gara di sempre per me. ”
Ken Roczen: “”Bene, qui c’è stato uno di quei punti in cui ho faticato per tutto l’evento principale, la curva prima delle whoops e le whoops, solo andando di lato e mi sono sbilanciato lì. Mi sento come se avessi potuto farla meglio o aver lavorato meglio con la moto, avrei potuto mantenere il mio flusso un po ‘migliore e forse mantenere il divario tra primo e secondo. Onestamente, mi sto divertendo molto; Non sono stato in un inseguimento da campionato da molto tempo, ed è davvero una bella corsa. Marvin Musquin: “Avevo un buon passo e mi sentivo a mio agio, ma poi ho iniziato a stringere un po ‘e in quel momento Cooper mi ha beccato. Justin Barcia (9°): “Per me è stata una giornata pazza, mi sentivo bene, la moto funzionava bene, avevo un buon allenamento, ero giusto nei tempi, ma nella gara di qualifica non sono partito bene. Stavo attraversando il gruppo e sono stato eliminato. Nel main event, ero fuori e ho fatto un bel salto fuori dal cancello. Ero messo bene, ma ero così lontano che sono stato spinto fuori, sono entrato nelle balle di fieno e ho iniziato per ultimo, sono passato dall’ultimo al settimo, guidavo bene, ma ancora non ero capace di far accadere le cose che dovevo accadere, ho bisogno di iniziare meglio e mettermi di fronte al pacchetto a cui appartengo. Ci sposteremo da questo fine settimana e ci prepareremo per Detroit “.
Dean Wilson (8°): “La mia serata non è stata sorprendente ma neanche troppo male. Penso che la parte migliore della mia gara sia stata che ho attraversato il gruppo davvero bene e ho passato molti buoni piloti. Quando sono arrivato nella posizione in cui mi trovavo, non c’era davvero nessuno davanti a me che potessi catturare, così ho finito con un ottavo. Non è quello che voglio, ma l’inizio è stato promettente con la velocità che ho avuto. Devo solo iniziare meglio e andare lassù e saremo bravi. Lo prenderò ma vogliamo salire sul podio di sicuro. ”

Austin Forkner: “Amico, questo fine settimana mi sono sentito bene! Mi sentivo bene tutto il giorno, ma ho sofferto un po ‘nel Main perché ero così concentrato su quello che dovevo risolvere dalla mia gara di quali che i primi cinque minuti non avevo davvero respiro. Sono rimasto un po ‘senza fiato dopo circa metà strada, ma sono stato in grado di riprendermi e creare abbastanza spazio per tirare fuori un’altra vittoria. Siamo a due round e sono entusiasta di come sta andando il nostro programma. Cooper Webb: ““Tonight was incredible! I just never gave up out there. It was incredible for it to come to the last lap – the last turn even – and to be able to win with such a close finish was absolutely insane. That’s probably the best race ever for me.”
Ken Roczen: ““Well, this was one of those spots I struggled in throughout the main event, the turn before the whoops, and the whoops, just going side to side and getting off balance there. I feel like if I could have done that better or worked better with the bike I could have kept my flow a little bit better and maybe kept that gap between first and second. But, unfortunately, this is just things to learn from I’m using that for fuel for next weekend. I feel like I’m getting better and better. Obviously finishing second after leading the whole race is not so fun, but overall we’re healthy and still in the championship.“From the first few races this year to now, I’ve made some good steps forward. I’ve changed up some things in my program and put in some solid effort during the week, and I feel like it’s showing on the weekends. Of course it’s disappointing to put in that effort the entire moto and then give it away in the last turn. The turn before the whoops and in the whoops themselves is where I lost the most time during the main event. If I could’ve done that better or worked better with the bike, I feel like I could’ve kept my flow a bit better and had more of a gap between first and second. Honestly though, I’m just having a lot of fun; I haven’t been in a championship chase in a long time, and it’s really good racing. There’s always room to improve, and I don’t have a win yet, but we’ve been super-consistent. I’ll just use this as fuel, think about the feelings I had on the track, and then make a plan for the next race. I think we’re in a good spot.”
Marvin Musquin: ““I had a good pace and I felt comfortable but then I started tightening up a little bit and that’s when Cooper caught me. It was too much playing defense for me and he was right there, and then he got me. From there, I had nothing left so I salvaged a third place. It’s good, but I was in a good position for better, so I am a little bit disappointed with that but I’m also happy that we were able to turn it around after the heat race.”
Eli Tomac (12°): “
Dean Wilson (8°): ““My night was not amazing but not too bad either. I think the best part of my race was that I came through the pack really well and I passed a lot of good riders. By the time I got to the position I was in, there was really no one in front of me that I could catch so I ended up with an eighth. It’s not what I want but the beginning was promising with the speed I had. I just need to get a better start and get up there and we’ll be good. I’ll take it but we want to get on the podium for sure.”
Justin Barcia (7°): “”Crazy day of racing for me for sure. I felt good, the bike was working well. I had a pretty good practice, was right in the times, but in the heat race, didn’t get off to a good start. I was working my way through the pack and got taken out. In the main event, I was on the far outside and got a really good jump off the gate. I was right in it, but I was just so far outside I got pushed out and went into the hay bales and started last. I went from last to seventh. I was riding well, but again wasn’t able to make things happen that I needed to happen. I need to get a better start and put myself in front of the pack where I belong. We’re moving on from this weekend and will get ready for Detroit.”

Austin Forkner: “Man, this weekend felt good! I felt great all day but I struggled a bit in the main because I was so focused on what I needed to fix from my heat race that the first five minutes I didn’t really breathe. I got a bit winded after about halfway, but I was able to bounce back and create enough of a gap to pull off another win though. We’re two rounds in and I’m stoked on how well our program is doing. Back-to-back wins is exactly how you would want to kick off the season, and you can bet that we’ll roll into Detroit ready to go and to defend this red plate.”
