L’ultimo appuntamento con gli Internazionali d’Italia MX EICMA Series 2019 è alle porte. Il circuito Tazio Nuvolari di Mantova accoglierà questo fine settimana la terza gara della più popolare serie pre mondiale del nostro continente. Ancora una volta più di duecento piloti saranno chiamati a confrontarsi nelle tre classi in gara, dando vita, come sempre, a duelli memorabili, sotto lo sguardo attento delle migliaia di spettatori presenti sulle tribune naturali della pista, che a maggio ospiterà il Gran Premio di Lombardia MXGP e di quelli che anche questo fine settimana si collegheranno al sito per assistere gratuitamente, da ovunque nel mondo, allo spettacolo degli Internazionali EICMA Series.
Nella classe Supercampione i giochi sono quasi fatti, e Tony Cairoli (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), dopo essersi aggiudicato i primi due round, con 240 punti è a un passo dal terzo titolo consecutivo, ma la battaglia con gli agguerriti avversari sarà senz’altro ancora una volta spettacolare. A dargli filo da torcere ci saranno Tim Gajser (Honda HRC), secondo in classifica a quota 200 e Jorge Prado, già due volte sul terzo gradino del podio e migliore dei piloti della MX2 con 160 punti. In cerca di riscatto Romain Febvre (Monster Energy Yamaha Factory) 125 punti, ancora a secco di podi nella classe che assegna un montepremi di ben 120.000€, così come Gautier Paulin (Monster Energy Wilvo MXGP), quinto con 99 punti.
Anche in MX1 Cairoli veleggia a punteggio pieno (240 punti), a seguirlo Romain Febvre (200) e Tim Gajser (160). Ad Ottobiano i tre hanno replicato il risultato di Riola, mentre Gautier Paulin con 130 punti, mira ad un posto sul podio finale di classe, insidiato da un sorprendente ed inossidabile Tannel Leok (A1M Husqvarna) che lo segue a soli 15 punti di distacco.
In MX2 il francese Tom Vialle, pilota ufficiale del Team KTM Red Bull Factory Racing e compagno di tenda di Jeffrey Herlings, farà a Mantova il suo debutto stagionale in sella alla moto austriaca e sarà interessante vederlo confrontarsi per la prima volta col compagno di marca Jorge Prado, mattatore della categoria e Campione del Mondo in carica, saldamente in testa alla classifica con 240 punti, seguito dal giovanissimo danese Mikkel Haarup (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing) con 150, mentre a pari punti (125) Michele Cervellin (Yamaha SM Action) e Ben Watson (Kemea Yamaha), si sfideranno per un posto sul podio.
In 125 campionato apertissimo con un manipolo di piloti pronti a dare il massimo per conquistare il titolo di campione 2019. Il leader Florient Miot (Yamaha MJC) guida la classifica con 730 punti, a 30 punti da Andrea Bonacorsi (Celestini KTM Junior Team) e dal vincitore di Ottobiano Simon Langenfelder (WZ Racing KTM) terzo con 500 punti, 30 più di Mirko Valsecchi (Celestini KTM Junior Team) e 39 più di Alessandro Facca (Marchetti Racing Team).
Appuntamento con l’ultimo round degli Internazionali d’Italia EICMA Series per domenica 10 febbraio sulla pista di Mantova e per chi non potrà esserci di persona, diretta streaming dalle ore 13.40. Si inizierà con la MX2, a seguire la MX1, la 125 e la finalissima della classe Supercampione.
