LA SABBIA INFERNALE DI RIOLA DA I PRIMI RESPONSI: BONACORSI IN 125, PRADO IN MX2 E CAIROLI IN MX1
La prima tappa degli Internazionali d’Italia MX EICMA Series 2019 ha segnato l’inizio della partnership tra la più prestigiosa serie pre stagionale di Motocross continentale e il più importante evento fieristico delle due ruote al mondo. Dalla Sardegna è partito Road to EICMA, il percorso ideale che attraverso le tappe degli Internazionali d’Italia e altri eventi legati al mondo del fuoristrada, condurrà fino all’edizione 2019 della rassegna che si terrà presso la fiera di Milano dal 7 al 10 Novembre.
INTERNAZIONALI D’ITALIA MX 2019 – RIOLA SARDO Risultati e punti!
Sin dalle prime ore del mattino il pubblico delle grandi occasioni si è riversato all’interno del circuito “Le Dune” del Motoclub Motor School di Riola Sardo per vedere all’opera gli oltre 150 piloti iscritti nelle tre categorie in gara.
125 – Ad aprire la giornata le prove cronometrate della classe 125 ed è il giovane estone Talviku (Husqvarna) a far segnare il miglior crono, aggiudicandosi la MX24 Pole Position, davanti al nostro Bonacorsi(Celestini KTM Junior) che precede a sua volta Giuzio(MCV Motorsport KTM) e Valsecchi(Celestini KTM Junior). Al via di gara uno è Krajewski(KTM) a scattare davanti a tutti, seguito da Razzini(Yamaha Fiamme Oro), Barbaglia(KTM) e Facca(KTM Marchetti), con il francese Miot(Yamaha MJC) e quinto Bonacorsi, fuori dai quindici. Ma la prima frazione della 125 è decisamente movimentata e alla fine a tagliare il traguardo in prima posizione è Miot che ha la meglio nel finale su Razzini, Krajewski e Bonacorsi, autore di una grande rimonta. Nella seconda manche Razzini parte in testa ma commette un errore e ne approfitta Bonacorsi, che prende il comando e si invola verso una meravigliosa vittoria che gli regala anche il primo gradino del podio e la tabella rossa di leader di categoria. Tagliano il traguardo alle spalle del lombardo Facca e Giuzio, che non riescono però a salire sul podio, dove salgono invece Miot secondo e Krajewski terzo.
MX2 – Due i gruppi di piloti che si sono contesi un posto nella MX2, con Calvin Vlaanderen (Honda HRC) che la spunta sul Campione del Mondo di categoria Jorge Prado(Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) e sul nostro Michele Cervellin(SM Action Yamaha), conquistando la 24MX Pole Position. In gara è però un incredibile Mattia Guadagnini (Madii Racing), in sella alla 250 due tempi a partire davanti a tutti, tenendo testa per ben sei giri al pilota spagnolo della KTM Prado. Alla fine il galiziano ha la meglio e va cogliere la prima vittoria dell’anno, tagliando il traguardo in prima posizione, davanti al danese Haarup(Rockstar Energy Factory Husqvarna) e allo stesso Guadagnini. Watson(Kemea Yamaha Racing), Cervellin ed Evans(Honda 114 Motorsport) chiudono la top six di giornata.
MX1– Al via scatta davanti a tutti Tim Gajser (Honda HRC) autore anche della 24MX Pole Positon, che ha la meglio su Cairoli e Febvre. I tre danno vita ad un bel duello che vede Cairoli spuntarla di forza sul francese, con lo sloveno terzo sul podio. Sotto la bandiera a scacchi, Paulin (Monster Energy Wilvo MXGP), Jasikonis (Rockstar Energy Factory Husqvarna), e Leok(Husqvarna), precedono il terzetto italiano formato da Monticelli(Standing Construct KTM), Lupino(Gebben Van Venrooy Kawasaki) e Bernardini(Yamaha Ghidinelli).
SUPERCAMPIONE – Tanta l’attesa per la gara della Supercampione, con i primi 20 della MX2 e della MX1 a darsi battaglia per conquistare punti preziosi per il montepremi finale di 120.000€. Al via è il nove volte iridato Cairoli a scattare davanti a tutti, cogliendo il suo primo hole-shot stagionale. Alle sue spalle Febvre incappa in una caduta a seguito di un contatto con Prado che prende la seconda posizione precedendo Gajser e Paulin. Prado segue a distanza Cairoli per quasi tutta la gara, arrendendosi alla maggior potenza della 450 di Gajser solo a tre giri dal termine, cogliendo comunque un terzo posto straordinario. Quarto al traguardo è Paulin, che precede Febvre, autore di una bella rimonta e Monticelli ottimo sesto davanti ad Evans, seconda MX2 al traguardo.
Grande il successo del Live Streaming che ha visto più di 150.000 spettatori seguire il primo round. Il prossimo appuntamento con gli internazionali d’Italia EICMA Series è tra sette giorni sulla pista di Ottobiano (PV) .

The first round of the Internazionali d’Italia MX EICMA Series 2019 marked the beginning of the partnership between the most prestigious European pre-season series of Motocross and the most important two-wheeler event in the world. From Sardinia, Road to EICMA started, and is the ideal route that through the rounds of the Internazionali d’Italia and other events related to the off-road world, will lead up to the 2019 edition of the exhibition that will be held at the Milan fair from November the 7th to November the 10th.
Since the early hours of the morning, the crowds has poured into the “Le Dune” circuit of the Motoclub Motor School of Riola Sardo to see the work of over 150 riders signed in for the three categories.
The day started with the practice session of the 125 class and was the young Estonian Talviku (Husqvarna) who score the best lap time, winning the MX24 Pole Position award, in front of Bonacorsi (Celestini KTM Junior), Giuzio (MCV Motorsport KTM) and Valsecchi (Celestini KTM Junior). At the start of the first race, Krajewski (KTM) took the lead in front of everyone, followed by Razzini (Yamaha Fiamme Oro), Barbaglia (KTM) and Facca (KTM Marchetti), with the French Miot (Yamaha MJC) fifth and Bonacorsi, far out from fifteen. But the 125 was definitely exciting and uncertain until the end, when Miot crossed the line in first place, leading Razzini, Krajewski and Bonacorsi, who made a great comeback. In the second heat Razzini starts in the lead but makes a mistake and Bonacorsi took the first place, flying to a wonderful victory that also guarantee him the first step on the podium and the red plate of the class. Second to cross the finish line behind Bonacorsi were Facca and Giuzio, but they can not get on the podium, where Miot was second and Krajewski third.
Two groups of riders competed for a place in the MX2 race, with Calvin Vlaanderen (Honda HRC) took the 24MX Pole Position ahead of the World Champion Jorge Prado(Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) and Michele Cervellin (SM Action Yamaha). In the race, however, was an incredible Mattia Guadagnini (Madii Racing), riding the 250 two-stroke who started in front of everyone, holding the lead for six laps to the Spanish rider Prado. In the end, the Galician has the best and took the first win of the year, crossing the finish line in first position, ahead of the Danish Haarup (Rockstar Energy Factory Husqvarna) and Guadagnini. Watson(Kemea Yamaha Racing), Cervellin and Evans (Honda 114 Motorsport) closed the top six of the day.
In MX1, the MX24 Pole Position was for Tim Gajser (Honda HRC) that was faster than Tony Cairoli (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), with Jasikonis (Rockstar Energy Factory Husqvarna), Febvre (Monster Energy Yamaha Factory) and Paulin (Monster) Energy Wilvo MXGP) to follow the two. Tim Gajser, started in front of everyone, preceding Febvre and Cairoli. The three give life to a beautiful duel that sees Cairoli force it on the French, with the Slovenian third on the podium. Under the checkered flag, Paulin, Jasikonis and Leok (Husqvarna), crossed the finish line in front of the Italian trio formed by Monticelli (Standing Construct KTM), Lupine (Gebben Van Venrooy Kawasaki) and Bernardini (Yamaha Ghidinelli).
A lot of interest for the Supercampione race, with the first 20 of the MX2 and MX1 classes, battling to win precious points for the final prize of € 120,000. At the start was the nine-time world champion Cairoli to shoot in front of everyone, seizing his first seasonal hole-shot. Behind him Febvre crashes after colliding with Prado, who takes the second position ahead of Gajser and Paulin. Prado follows Cairoli for almost the entire race, surrendering to the bigger power of the Gajser 450’s only three laps from the end, still catching an extraordinary third place. Fourth at the finish is Paulin, who precedes Febvre, after a great comeback and Monticelli excellent sixth in front of Evans, second MX2 at the finish line.
Great the success for the Live Streaming which saw more than 150,000 spectators follow the first round of the Championship. The next appointment with the Internazionali d’Italia EICMA Series is in seven days on Ottobiano’s track.
