Romain Febvre Injury Update!

Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Romain Febvre della MXGP è stato costretto a ritirarsi dal diciottesimo round del Campionato Mondiale FIM Motocross ad Afyon, in Turchia, dopo una pesante caduta nella sessione di prove cronometrate di questo pomeriggio.

Dopo aver ottenuto il miglior tempo sul giro nella prima sessione di prove libere, Febvre ha avuto uno sfortunato incidente mentre cercava di migliorare il suo tempo sul giro nella seconda sessione. Il francese subì una commozione cerebrale nell’incidente e fu portato in ospedale per ulteriori esami medici, dove fu confermato che nessun’altra lesione fu sostenuta.

A titolo precauzionale, Febvre non si schiererà domani per il Gran Premio turco. Un aggiornamento sul suo ritorno alle corse sarà condiviso con Yamaha-Racing e le piattaforme di social media di Yamaha, quando disponibili.

Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP’s Romain Febvre has been forced to withdraw from the seventeenth round of the FIM Motocross World Championship in Afyon, Turkey, following a heavy fall in the Timed Practice session earlier this afternoon.

After setting the fastest lap time in the first practice session, Febvre had an unfortunate crash while trying to better his lap-time in the second practice. The Frenchman suffered a concussion in the accident and was taken to hospital for further medical examination where it was confirmed that no other injury was sustained. 

As a precautionary measure, Febvre will not line-up for the Turkish Grand Prix tomorrow.  An update on his return to racing will be shared on Yamaha-Racing and Yamaha’s Official social media platforms when available.
