AFYON (Turchia) 31 Agosto 2018 – Il FIM Motocross World Championship fa il suo ritorno in Turchia questo fine settimana dopo quasi 10 anni di distanza. La nuova pista di Afyon ospiterà MXGP e MX2 con piloti da tutto il mondo per il 18° round della stagione 2018.

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Antonio Cairoli entra in Turchia, con un deficit di 73 punti sul compagno di squadra Jeffrey Herlings che potrebbe avere la possibilità di rivendicare il suo primo titolo mondiale MXGP questo fine settimana. Cairoli è stato l’ultimo vincitore GP di Turchia di nuovo nel 2009, ma Herlings è stato davvero forte in questa stagione. Nel frattempo il Campionato MX2 e la lotta è in pieno svolgimento con la Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Jorge Prado colpisce il compagno di squadra Paolo Jonass con il divario di solo 30 punti con 3 gare dalla fine.

AFYON (Turkey) 31 August 2018 – The FIM Motocross World Championship makes a return to Turkey this weekend after nearly 10 years away. The new track of Afyon will host MXGP and MX2 riders from around the world for 18th round of the 2018 season.

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Antonio Cairoli comes into Turkey with a 73 point deficit on teammate Jeffrey Herlings who might have the possibility of claiming his first premier MXGP world championship title this weekend. Cairoli was the last Turkish GP winner back in 2009 but Herlings has been really strong this season. Meanwhile MX2 Championship fight is in full swing with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jorge Prado striking the most recent hits to teammate Pauls Jonass as the gap is only 30 points with 3 rounds to go.

The 2018 MXGP of Turkey will receive traditional global television coverage from MXGP’s broadcast partners including live coverage in the host country of Turkey via TRT who will be on site.
