ANDERSON WILL RETURN AT BUDDS CREEK
Il campione Monster Energy Supercross Jason Anderson farà il suo ritorno alle gare prima della fine della stagione del Lucas Oil Pro Motocross. Il manager del team Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Bobby Hewitt, ha detto che Anderson ha ottenuto il via libera per dirigersi verso Budds Creek e fare un tentativo nelle prove e qualifiche sabato mattina e se si sente bene, Anderson correrà la gara sabato.
“Attualmente, io e lo staff crediamo che Jason tornerà sulla linea di partenza all’ AMA Outdoor Nationals questo fine settimana”, ha detto Hewitt “Ovviamente, la mia prima priorità è la sicurezza di Jason! È molto importante sia per me sia per Jason che rappresentiamo, sia per Rockstar Husqvarna Factory Racing che tutti i nostri sponsor al più alto livello possibile.Tutti qui in Rockstar Husqvarna Factory Racing non vediamo l’ora del suo ritorno e credo che Jason tornerà in pista, sulla linea di partenza per correre a Budds Creek! Budds Creek è al 95%, ma la decisione finale sarà presa dopo le qualifiche cronometrate se sarà al 100%. “
Anderson ha subito un infortunio al piede in un incidente di prova a Glen Helen poco prima del terzo round del campionato. Originariamente sperava di tornare lo scorso fine settimana a Unadilla, ma la squadra ha deciso di dargli un’altra settimana prima del suo ritorno.

Monster Energy Supercross Champion Jason Anderson will stick to his plan to be back before the end of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross season. In talking to Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team manager Bobby Hewitt today, it appears Anderson has been given the green light to head to Budds Creek and give it a try in practice and qualifying on Saturday morning. As long as he feels good, Anderson will race the motos on Saturday.
“Currently, myself and the staff believe Jason will be back on the starting line at the AMA Outdoor Nationals this weekend,” Hewitt said in a text to us. “Obviously, my first priority is Jason’s safety! It is very important to both Jason and I that we are representing both Rockstar Husqvarna Factory Racing and all of our sponsors at the highest level possible. Everyone here at Rockstar Husqvarna Factory Racing is looking forward to his return and believe that Jason will be back on the track, on the starting line and racing at Budds Creek! Racing Budds Creek is 95%, but the final decision will be made after timed qualifying. For racing Indiana [next weekend], we are 100%.”
Anderson suffered a foot injury in a practice crash at Glen Helen just before round three of the championship. He originally hoped to be back last weekend at Unadilla, but the team elected to give him another week before his return.
