MXGP of Asia SemarangSecondo appuntamento in Indonesia per il Mondiale Motocross sulla nuovissima pista di Semarang all’interno di una bellissima zona residenziale, la pista tecnica e velocissima con salti molto lunghi ed impegnativi. Per tutto il fine settimana il gran caldo ha messo a dura prova piloti e addetti ai lavori. Max Nagl nelle prove non è risucito a trovare il giusto setting per la sua TM 450, il pilota tedesco lamentava poco grip. Al via della manche di qualifica Max è stato un fulmine alla partenza inserendosi nelle posizioni di vertice ma a causa del feeling non perfetto non è risucito a guidare come avrebbe voluto e ha dovuto accontentarsi della dodicesima posizione. Il team ha lavorato per cercare di mettere Nagl a proprio agio sulla moto e già dal warm-up di domenica mattina la moto era perfetta. Max Nagl al via della prima manche non è riuscito a partire bene rimanendo imbottigliato a centro gruppo, ma grazie alla grinta e alla ottima velocità ha recuperato fino alla settima posizione. Purtroppo a fine gara Max è stato retrocesso di 10 posizione perchè secondo la giura avrebbe commesso una irregolarità quando erano esposte le bandiere gialle, ma le stesse erano in un punto che il pilota non poteva vederle. La squadra ha cercato in tutti i modi di spiegare alla giuria il problema ma non hanno voluto prendere in considerazioni le spiegazioni del team manger Marco Ricciardi. Nella seconda manche Nagl è stato un’altra volta un leone ha conbattuto per tutta la manche con i migliori piloti al mondo e quando si trovava in sesta posizione una banale scivolata gli ha precluso la possibilità di portare a casa un grandissimo risultato, Max ha chiuso al nono posto. Marco Ricciardi commenta così la gara:”Voglio ringraziare Max perchè ci ha veramente messo il cuore in questa gara, è stato un leone ha dimostrato a tanti che non è vecchio come qualcuno dice. Vorrei ringraziare i ragazzi che hanno lavorato alla grande cambiando diversi setting per trovare la soluzione ideale e abbiamo dimostrato di che valore è la nostra moto. Per il resto NO COMMENT preferisco non parlarne.” |

The team worked to try to put Nagl at ease on the bike and already from the Sunday morning warm-up the bike was perfect. Max Nagl at the start of the first heat he was not able to start well, remaining bottled in the center of the group, but thanks to his determination and excellent speed he recovered up to the seventh position. Marco Ricciardi comments on the race: “I want to thank Max because he really puts his heart in this race, it was a lion he showed to many that he is not as old as someone says. I would like to thank the guys who worked great changing different settings to find the ideal solution and we have shown what value our bike is.
