Il pilota Bike It DRT Darian Sanayei di Kawasaki è stato sottoposto ad un intervento chirurgico passato con successo questa settimana in California e ha avviato il processo di riabilitazione per tornare alla sua comprovata velocità nella serie motocross FIM World MX2.
Danneggiato durante un round della serie nazionale britannica all’inizio di aprile, Darian Sanayei ha impiegato diverse settimane di riposo per cercare di riprendersi dall’infortunio al ginocchio prima di tornare a correre al British Grand Prix due settimane fa. Dopo aver effettuato alcuni giri molto veloci durante le sessioni di prova, il giovane americano, che ha appena compiuto 22 anni questa settimana, non è stato in grado di mantenere la velocità sulla distanza di gara e ha deciso di sottoporsi all’intervento chirurgico poiché comporta un lungo processo di riabilitazione dopo un intervento chirurgico al ginocchio . È tornato negli Stati Uniti per fare un intervento chirurgico mercoledì scorso, ed è stato soddisfatto del risultato.
“L’intervento è andato bene; hanno fatto tutto il necessario e ora sono in un hotel che riposo per alcuni giorni. Spero di poter iniziare presto a girare e fare fisioterapie “, ha detto Darian, che ora si sta concentrando sulla prossima stagione. Dopo aver segnato il suo primo podio per la MX2 quest’anno in Argentina e in Spagna, Darian sa di poter correre per i podi del GP nel prossimo futuro. “È bello sapere ora che l’operazione è terminata posso iniziare a concentrarmi sulla salute per la prossima stagione. Vorrei ringraziare Kawasaki e tutto il team per il loro supporto “, ha aggiunto.
La famiglia Kawasaki gli augura un buon recupero e si aspetta di vederlo in prima linea nelle competizioni nella prossima stagione.

Bike It DRT Kawasaki’s Darian Sanayei underwent successful surgery this week in California and starts the rehabilitation process to return to his proven speed in the FIM World MX2 motocross series.
Injured during a round of the British national series in early April, Darian Sanayei took several weeks off to try to recover from his knee injury before returning to racing at the British Grand Prix two weeks ago. After posting some very fast laps during the practice sessions the young American, who just turned 22 this week, wasn’t able to maintain the speed over the race distance and decided to go for surgery as this entails a long rehabilitation process after a knee surgery. He went back to the United States to have surgery this Wednesday, and was pleased with the result. “The surgery went well; they did everything they needed to and now I’m in a hotel resting for a few days. Hopefully I will soon be able to to start getting around and doing physio,” said Darian who is now focusing on next season. Having scored his first MX2 race podium this year in Argentina and Spain Darian knows that he can race for GP podiums in the near future. “It’s nice to know now that the surgery is done and I can start focusing on being healthy for next season. I’d like to thanks Kawasaki and the entire team for their support,” he added. The Kawasaki family wish him a good recovery and expect to see him at the forefront of racing again next season.
