MAX ANSTIE TO MISS MXGP OF PORTUGAL

ROCKSTAR ENERGY HUSQVARNA FACTORY RACING RIDER SLITTA ALLA PROSSIMA GARA MXGP
Husqvarna Motorcycles annuncia che Max Anstie di Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing non gareggerà al GP del Portogallo questo fine settimana, recupera dalla commozione subita a seguito di un incidente durante il warm-up per il terzo round del Motocross World Championship – il GP di Comunitat Valenciana, Spagna.
Restando davanti al recente GP del Trentino in Italia, Max ha fatto tutto il possibile per essere pronto per un ritorno alla competizione. Tuttavia, dopo solo pochi giri di prova, si rese conto di non essere in grado di poter correre e di non poter prendere parte al GP.
Subendo ulteriori controlli medici, a Max è stato consigliato di riposare ulteriormente e di conseguenza mancherà il GP del Portogallo del fine settimana. Max tornerà a correre quando sarà completamente in forma e pronto a farlo.
Antti Pyrhönen – Team Manager MXstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing: “Certo, tutti nella nostra squadra sono delusi per Max che non è in grado di unirsi a noi e gareggiare questo fine settimana al GP del Portogallo, ma la nostra priorità è il benessere di Max. Ha bisogno di più tempo per riprendersi dal suo incidente in Spagna. Lo farà solo quando sarà completamente pronto per tornare alla competizione. Le cadute fanno parte delle corse, insieme a Gautier Paulin, Max ha lavorato duramente durante la off-season ed è stato davvero motivato a dare il via al campionato MXGP. La sua velocità e la sua forma fisica erano dove dovevano essere, quindi è estremamente frustrante per lui essere messo da parte in questo modo. Sappiamo che tornerà forte, ma per ora ha bisogno di riposare per recuperare completamente “.

Resting ahead of the recent GP of Trentino in Italy, Max did all that he could to be ready for a return to competition. However, after only a few laps of practice he soon realised that he was unable to race and took no further part in the GP.
Undergoing further medical checks, Max has been advised to take further rest and as a result will miss this weekend’s GP of Portugal. Max will return to racing when he is fully fit and ready to do so.
Antti Pyrhönen – Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing MXGP Team Manager: “Of course everyone in our team is disappointed for Max that he’s unable to join us and compete this weekend at the GP of Portugal, but our priority is Max and his wellbeing. He needs more time to recover from his crash in Spain. Only when he is fully ready to return to competition will he do so. Crashes are a part of racing but together with Gautier Paulin, Max put in a huge amount of hard work during the off-season and was really motivated to make a strong start to the MXGP championship. His speed and fitness were both where they needed to be, so it’s hugely frustrating for him to be sidelined like this. We know he will be back strong, but for now he needs to rest in order to make a full recovery.”
