Eli Tomac si porta a casa Seattle in una situazione a dir poco estrema per una gara di Supercross, dopo aver segnato il miglior tempo nell’unico crono della giornata, vince la sesta gara stagionale e recupera qualche punticino, che con 4 gare al termine non sono una grande cose in vista del campionato, separato dalla vetta del Leader di Jason Anderson da 68 punti, vuol dire che Tomac dovrebbe recuperare la media di 17 punti a Gara, cosa improbabile….il secondo in campionato è Musquin che perde punti a Seattle, ora a 37, sotto le parole di Tomac il quale ha capito la gravità della situazione e forse si è messo il cuore in pace sul Campionato!

ELI TOMAC: E ‘stato davvero pesante e ci ha fatto andare lentamente, le pedane sfregavano costantemente ed era facile sbagliare, i tre del campionato erano tutti li…. è stato difficile. Per questa condizione è stata assurda, con solo 10 minuti per provare la pista e ricordartela….ovviamente è raro che esistano gare così…. La cosa difficile di starera era stare alla larga da alcune zone fangosissime che potevano bloccarti dentro, quindi stavo cercando di trovare un paio di linee perfette per chiudere bene!
Jason è caduto e sono riuscito a passarlo senza esagerare, però mi trovo bene in questi terreni estremi, perchè se ci fosse stato il bisogno di aumentare il ritmo lo avrei fatto, sono scivolato anche io subito, ma ho ripreso la situazione in mano e non ho più sbagliato…..È ormai una situzione dove posso anche spingere di più di Jason, un pò quasi una situazione dell’anno scorso, ma sono ancora più indietro nei punti…..È fantastico vincere tanto, ma è una situazione difficile per il campionato, fa parte del gioco, è stata colpa mia…. Sono caduto ad Anaheim 1, mi sono infortunato e ho saltato una gara, poi ho avuto un altra pessima e non puoi fare degli zeri in questa serie.
Vedremo come saranno le prossime gare, guido e mi diverto, sono senza pressioni…

Aaron Plessinger Extends Western Regional 250SX Class Points Lead with Impressive Seattle Victory
Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, hosted Round 13 in front of 55,407 fans inside CenturyLink Field in Seattle for one of the slimiest, slickest races in history.
The Monster Energy Kawasaki of Eli Tomac found itsway to a third-place start, battling back and forth with Team Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Marvin Musquin for second with Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Jason Anderson out front for the first five laps. After Tomac passed Musquin, a mistake by Anderson handed Tomac the lead for the remaining six laps of the 11-lap race. Anderson held on to second ahead of Musquin who rounded out the podium with a third-place finish.
“It’s just one of those tracks where you just have to either ride it and have fun or you’re just in misery, and today we were having fun,” Tomac said after the race. “That was, by far, the craziest Supercross moments I’ve ever been in. It felt like I was in the backyard just having fun and riding in the mud, and that’s how you had to treat it.”
Monster Energy/Yamalube/Star/Yamaha Racing’s Aaron Plessinger ran away with the 250SX Class win, leading from the start of the 8-lap Main Event. GEICO Honda’s Chase Sexton earned a career-best second-place finish ahead of Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Adam Cianciarulo in third.
“That was fun,” Plessinger said on the podium. “That was a sick race; it reminded me of a lot of GNCCs, so it was good to get out there and have some fun and rip some ruts. There were sometimes where the ruts were two feet deep, and you just had to pick a good line … I knew I could do it here. I love Seattle. I love all these fans here; they make it exciting.”
