Nella sua heat di qualifica la scorsa notte a San Diego per il sesto round di Monster Energy Supercross, Justin Bogle di Autotrader / Yoshimura Suzuki non è riuscito a spararsi il primo triplo e ha deciso di copiarlo passando sopra l’atterraggio. Ben LaMay è stato in grado di fare il triplo ma non vedendo oltre è atterrato su Bogle, colpendo il lato del suo casco. I due sono usciti dalla pista e la gara è stata prontamente fermata con bandiere rosse, sotto il video:
Così le prime notizie arrivate riguardo Bogle riportavano di una frattura all’omero e sarà sottoposto a ulteriori valutazioni questa settimana, le visite sono state effettuate e lo stesso Bogle conferma tramite i social l’infortunio e che si sottoporrà a un intervento chirurgico, già effettuato oggi.
Justin Bogle: “L’uomo può essere così a volte a provare questo sport, ma lo adoro e amo la persona in cui queste lotte mi trasformano. Intervento chirurgico per sistemarmi domani(oggi n.d.r.) poi da lì vado con la testa verso il recupero, ma so che posso superare qualsiasi cosa posta prima di me e lavorerò e prego fino a che questo non sia diverso. “

JUSTIN BOGLE INJURY UPDATE
Autotrader/ Yoshimura/ Suzuki Factory Racing Team rider Justin Bogle, who sustained a broken right arm during the opening lap of the second 450 heat race at the San Diego AMA/ FIM World Supercross race at the weekend, successfully underwent surgery on Monday.
Autotrader/ Yoshimura/ Suzuki Factory Racing Team Manager, Jeremy Albrecht, said: “Bogle was making progress throughout the day in San Diego. Unfortunately, he was landed on by another rider and sustained a break to his right humerus. He was transported to a local hospital for observation. On Monday, Justin underwent what his surgeons, Dr. Tal David and Dr. Christopher Sherman are calling a successful surgery, which included fixing the injury with two plates and screws.”
As far as a timeline for Bogle’s return, Albrecht stated, “We will have a better idea once Justin heals up from surgery and resumes daily activities. Malcolm Stewart will continue racing for the team while Bogle is sidelined.”
The Autotrader/ Yoshimura/ Suzuki Factory Racing Team will travel to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas this Saturday for round seven of the 2018 Supercross series.
