TRIBUTE TO SÉBASTIEN DASSÉ
Sébastien Dassé, comproprietario del team Kawasaki di Bud Racing, è tristemente scomparso la scorsa settimana ed è stato sepolto ieri in una cerimonia alla quale hanno partecipato molti motociclisti e membri dell’industria del motocross.
Il Bud Racing Team è stato coinvolto nello sport per più di dieci anni, e ha ottenuto molti risultati significativi in entrambi i campionati francese, europeo e mondiale, incluso il podio MX2 di Gautier Paulin (2009), il titolo europeo di Brian Moreau ultimo anno e i titoli francesi di Livia Lancelot, David Herbreteau, Valentin Teillet, Dylan Ferrandis, Maxime Desprey e Xavier Boog.
Dal loro debutto nel 2007 con Marvin Musquin il team è stato supportato da Kawasaki e negli ultimi anni ha rappresentato il marchio nei campionati europeo e francese.
La lunga e ricca storia del team è iniziata nel 1995, quando Stephane e Sébastien Dassé hanno creato Bud Racing e iniziato a lavorare sullo sviluppo di motori e sospensioni. Ogni fratello correva nel motocross, ma sfortunatamente Sébastien subì un brutto incidente mentre praticava nel 1998; diventato paraplegico, quindi, insieme a suo fratello, ha messo tutte le sue energie nello sviluppo di Bud Racing.
Ben noto come uno dei migliori tecnici di sospensioni in Francia, Sébastien ha lavorato con molti dei migliori piloti nel corso degli anni ed è stato con suo fratello un elemento chiave nello sviluppo della società e del team. Le sue condizioni si sono improvvisamente complicate la scorsa settimana e a 37 anni questo membro di lunga data della famiglia Kawasaki è scomparso tragicamente. MXGP e Kawasaki Motors Europe desiderano ringraziare Sébastien per il viaggio, il suo impegno per il marchio e per lo sport del Motocross in generale, ed esprime le sue sincere condoglianze a Stephane, alla squadra, alla sua famiglia e ai suoi amici per la loro perdita.

Sébastien Dassé, co-owner of the Bud Racing Kawasaki Team, sadly passed away last week and was buried yesterday at a ceremony attended by many riders and members of the motocross industry.
The Bud Racing Team has been involved in the sport for more than ten years, and has achieved many significant results in both the French, European and World Championships, including the MX2 podium of Gautier Paulin (2009), the European title of Brian Moreau last year and the French titles of Livia Lancelot, David Herbreteau, Valentin Teillet, Dylan Ferrandis, Maxime Desprey and Xavier Boog.
Since their debut in 2007 with Marvin Musquin the team has been supported by Kawasaki and in recent years has represented the brand in the European and French championships.
The long and rich history of the team started in 1995 when Stephane and Sébastien Dassé created Bud Racing and start working on engine and suspension development. Each brother was racing motocross, but unfortunately Sébastien suffered a bad crash whilst practicing in 1998; a paraplegic, he then, together with his brother, put all his energy into the development of Bud Racing.
Well-known as one of the best suspension technicians in France, Sébastien worked with many top riders through the years and was with his brother a key piece in the development of the company and the team. His condition suddenly deteriorated last week, and at 37 years old this long-time member of the Kawasaki family tragically passed away. MXGP and Kawasaki Motors Europe wishes to thank Sébastien for the journey, his commitment to the brand and to the sport of Motocross in general, and expresses its sincere condolences to Stephane, the team, his family and friends for their loss.
