I compagni di squadra di Troy Lee Designs / Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Shane McElrath e Alex Martin hanno potenziato le loro moto KTM 250 SX-F per afferrare le prime due posizioni nel 250SX West Main Event. È stato McElrath ad assumere la posizione di comando, mentre Martin ha mantenuto una posizione nella top five nella fase iniziale.
McElrath ha continuato a condurre tutti i 18 giri del Main Event per conquistare la prima vittoria 250SX della stagione 2018. Alex Martin si è rotto la clavicola nel round di apertura del West Coast Lites Supercross Championship ad Anaheim.
Martin stava guidando nella top ten dell’evento principale quando si è schiantato dopo le whoops. Dopo l’incidente ha constatato la frattura della clavicola e sarà out per diverse settimane!

A quanto pare NON SI E’ FRATTURATO LA CLAVICOLA, è stato un errore di valutazione al primo controllo, mediante accertamenti hanno riscontrato che era ok!

Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull KTM Factory Racing teammates Shane McElrath and Alex Martin powered their KTM 250 SX-F machines off the line to grab the first two positions in the 250SX West Main Event. It was McElrath who assumed the lead position, while Martin maintained a top five position early on.
McElrath went on to lead all 18 laps of the Main Event to capture the first 250SX victory of the 2018 season. Alex Martin has broken his collarbone at the opening round of the West Coast Lites Supercross Championship in Anaheim.
Martin was riding inside of the top ten in the main event when he crashed after the whoops. By the crash he broke his collarbone and will be out for several weeks!
