DAVY POOTJES SEGNI CON LRT KTM
Il team LRT KTM è lieto di annunciare che rimarrà nel paddock Motocross Grand Prix per la stagione 2018. Quest’anno la squadra è partita con Julien Lieber che mancò tutta la stagione 2016 per infortunio. Il belga ha avuto un buon anno con l’equipaggio LRT KTM finendo sesto nel Campionato del Mondo MX2 e ottenendo più volte un podio.
Tuttavia, con Lieber che passerà a competere il prossimo anno il Campionato Mondiale MXGP, il team LRT KTM è lieto di annunciare l’emozionante firma del talento olandese Davy Pootjes.
Pootjes non ha avuto l’anno che ha voluto nel Campionato del Mondo MX2 a causa di ferite ma ha mostrato un buon passo al suo ritorno alle corse.
Con il team LRT KTM e il supporto di factory dietro di lui, il talento olandese spera di rimanere senza lesioni e, infine, di realizzare il suo vero potenziale nel Campionato del Mondo MX2.
Il fratello di Julien, Cedric, che era già un pilota, rimarrà fortemente coinvolto nella squadra come responsabile del Team.
Cedric Lieber (LRT KTM Team Manager): “Penso che durante la stagione potremmo dimostrare che possiamo avere un pilota top nella nostra squadra e dare loro il necessario supporto per combattere per le prime posizioni nel Mondiale MX2. Sono molto felice di avere un pilota di talento come Davy che ci aiuterà a continuare a migliorare come squadra e raggiungere i nostri obiettivi. Sono sicuro che abbia ancora molte cose positive da mostrarci in futuro e non vedo l’ora di farlo “.
Davy Pootjes: “Sono veramente felice di firmare con il team LRT KTM. Dopo alcuni anni difficili con lesioni personali mi sono contento sull’opportunità che mi hanno dato per combattere davanti. Non vedo l’ora di iniziare a lavorare con loro e di prepararmi per la stagione 2018 “.

However, with Lieber moving up to contest the MXGP World Championship next year, the LRT KTM team are pleased to announce the exciting signing of Dutch talent, Davy Pootjes.Pootjes didn’t have the year he wanted in the MX2 World Championship due to injuries but he showed some good pace on his return to racing.
With the LRT KTM team and factory support behind him, the Dutch talent will hope to stay injury free and finally fulfil his true potential in the MX2 World Championship.
Julien’s brother, Cedric who used to be a rider himself will stay heavily involved with the team as team manager.
Cedric Lieber (LRT KTM Team Manager): “’I think that during the season we could show that we can have a top rider in our team and give him the necessary support to fight for the top positions in the MX2 World Championship. I’m very happy to have a talented rider like Davy which will help us keep improving as a team and reach our goals. I’m sure he still has a lot of good things to show us in the future and I’m looking forward to it”.
Davy Pootjes: “I’m really happy to sign with the LRT KTM team. After a few difficult years with injury’s I’m happy with the opportunity they have given me to fight at the top. I can’t wait to start working with them and to get ready for the 2018 season.”
