Team HRC MX2 all set for CRF250RW debut in USA

Questo fine settimana Michele Cervellin esibirà il nuovo CRF250RW al GP degli Stati Uniti per il round 17 del campionato mondiale di motocross FIM.

La moto Factory-spec è basata sul nuovo 2018 CRF250R, che è stato recentemente presentato a Lommel. Honda Racing Corporation ha dato alla moto il trattamento dei lavori, rendendola una moto altamente competitiva nella classe MX2.

WW Motocross Park a Jacksonville è un’altra nuova sede sul calendario MXGP di quest’anno. La struttura è stata aperta solo dal 2013, ma è stata classificata la pista di motocross numero uno in Florida da Moto Playground.

La gara di qualificazione MX2 inizia alle 15:25 ora locale (21:25 in Italia) il sabato 2 settembre.

Non vedo l’ora di guidare negli Stati Uniti questo fine settimana sul nuovo CRF250RW. Ho avuto un ottimo inizio per la stagione quindi sono entusiasta di testare all’estero di nuovo. Mi piace molto la potenza della nuova moto, è anche molto meglio in partenza, quindi penso che dovremmo essere in grado di ottenere un buon inizio e poi un risultato migliore da quello passato. Sto anche molto meglio nella condizione fisica, quindi sono sicuro che mi sento bene io e la nuova moto.

Questo fine settimana debutteremo tutti con la nuova Honda CRF250RW, siamo abbastanza eccitati. Miki ha testato la moto nelle ultime settimane e quindi non vediamo l’ora di vedere come va in gara in questo nuovo percorso GP Jacksonville.

This weekend Michele Cervellin debuts the all new CRF250RW at the GP of the USA for round 17 of the FIM world motocross championship.

The Factory-spec machine is based on the new 2018 CRF250R which was unveiled recently in Lommel. Honda Racing Corporation has given the bike the works treatment, making it a highly competitive machine in the MX2 class.

WW Motocross Park in Jacksonville is another new venue on the MXGP calendar this year. The facility has only been open since 2013 but has been rated the number one motocross track in Florida by Moto Playground.

MX2 qualifying race starts at 15h25 local time on Saturday 2nd September.

I am really looking forward to riding in the US this weekend on the new CRF250RW. I had a really good start to the season in the fly away arounds so I am excited to head overseas again. I really like the power of the new bike, it is also much better off of the starts so I think we should be able to get a good start and then a better result from that. I am much better in my physical condition now too so I am confident that I am feeling good in myself and on the new bike.

This weekend we debut the all new Honda CRF250RW which we are quite excited about. Miki has been testing the bike over the last few weeks so we are looking forward to seeing how he does in competition at this new to the MXGP calendar Jacksonville track.
